Spell check then proof read and still find myself having to go back and edit more than I care to acknowledge.  I can only blame my bifocals for so much.

Yes, but many times I can't fix them.  It's a new problem I've been having.  If the error is big, I back out of the post and try again.  If it's a small error, I let it go.

No, I do not, but I read it after and a lot of times and then have to edit it.  I know I should read first, but I am always typing fast and making mistakes.

@BalletBabe

Me, too! Plus, my iPad is hard to type on and it autocorrects by creating odd words, which I don't always catch because I'm moving way too fast.

@cherry

It's not always "kind" to let people to do something that makes them look foolish or is personally embarrassing.

Example ---  If an unknown woman came back from the ladies room with a trail of toilet paper stuck to her heel, would you also ignore that?   Perhaps it's kinder to take her aside and point out the issue.   However, based on posts I've seen on other threads, it appears many would ignore her "situation" out of so-called "kindness".   Of course, circumstances vary.

Yes, it is.    We all make mistakes and typos sneak by, but repeated errors grate like nails on a chalk board.   JMO

[ Edited ]

There's an active post, as of this writing,

which talks of 'quite my job'.

Is it bad, 'quit my job' or good, 'quite a job'?

I got tired-head & bugged out before finishing.....ha.
