Basically, I would agree but if a person consistently makes the same mistake it's kinder to point it out.

Wonder how many people remember actually using actual proofreader's marks in real-time back in the day?  Yep...been there, done that.

Of course, many of the following are tongue-in-cheek, but the giggle was the same.

@libbyannE  I hardly use my ipad for typing a lot.   I did add a keyboard and that helps a lot.   I prefer my laptop.

@dmod nj   I say, as long as I can read it, who cares.   Now if I read it and don't have a clue what your trying to say, then I would say ?????   say what?

I love Siri and some things she replaces my words with.  I have had many good laughs at looking down and seeing that she changed my words around.

I agree, @BalletBabe. I proofread and check when/where it counts.

Besides, I always type it correctly.  My keyboard has a mind of its own somedays. lol   That's my story and I'm sticking with it. LOL Smiley Happy

@BalletBabe

You're smarter than I. I need to change my ways s. I am fast and accurate in the computer and slow and full of typos on iPad. I have a keyboard for this so u appreciate the reminder that I should try it!

Re: Do you proofread your post before submitting it?

I usually do but there are times I miss a mistake.

I broke a finger on my dominant hand a year ago and it has never healed and won't.  I have to wear a splint on it at times.  Try typing like that Woman Very Happy

Another thing, lupus causes fingers to swell often.  Once it was so bad I had to wear splints over my wrists and hands, usually it's not that bad.

So... try a little kindness and don't judge people for their errors.  We used to have a brilliant poster on this board who was a disability attorney.  Her hands were seriously damaged and what she typed was difficult to read.  You just never know...
