Many years before his presidency I loved Trump Marina casino. I won a BIG $$$$ jackpot and I was invited to a personal dinner with Mr. Trump & Melania.
It was held in the grand ballroom of the casino about 200 people there. He personally stopped, chatted & took pictures with us.
It was a fun night and our "gift" was $500 freeslot play!
Just recently, I took my GD out to IHOP for breakfast - looked over Gene Simmons (Kiss) was alongside of us! He was gracious and chatted with us. He was in the area to perform in New Brunswick, NJ that nite they were on their way to golf!

More musicians back stage than I can name. And no, I was not a groupie. LOL
I used to run into Thomas Gibson at Whole Foods once in a while; very nice and actually would recognize me and DH. Haven't seen him, though, since the dust-up with being fired from Criminal Minds.

Kieth Urban -shopping center
Tanya Tucker - sat behind me at a restaurant
Amy grant -sat by me at a restaurant
George Forman - rode together in hotel van
Bill Clinton - was his guest when he was governor
Hillary Clinton - at univ of Arkansas law school
David Brooks - heard him speak and talked afterwards
Tim McGraw - small party before he was hugely famous
I’m not really in awe of musicians or actors. I would probably become speechless in the presence of some of my favorite news anchors and political reporters! 😁

I live right outside of the DC area so I often see Senators and Congressmen (from many different states). We are inundated with seeing them on TV so it's easy to recognize them. Other than that a famous person could walk up to me, introduce themselves and I STILL wouldn't recognize them. Just never been good at it.
My late husband on the other hand was amazing at recognizing famous people. He traveled a lot and because of that he belonged to clubs in airports where they go too. He wasn't impressed but he'd say "I saw so and so at the airport club". We'd be traveling and he'd say, "Did you just see so and so walk by"? I never did! Ha!
I tried to each my girls to be in awe of people who've achieved something worthwhile in their lives. But who am I kidding....I remember traveling in Canada and it was during something where a lot of famous singers were staying on our floor in our hotel. You had to have a special key to get up to the floor (where they were staying too). My girls were young teenagers and they and their cousin (who we took everywhere) were always walking the corridors looking for famous people.
We were scared to death someone was going to drag them into their room and we'd not know about it. That was back in the 90's.

Forgot about the "most" exciting for me (I'm not sports fan but spouse diehard Yankee fan):
We go to Yankees spring training and we are just standing there & I look over...OMG I see George Steinbrenner chatting with some guys.
So I say to my husband "look there's Steinbrenner" he goes no that's not him...of course, I go over & say "excuse me aren't you George Steinbrenner?" He said yes - I introduced myself (signaled my husband over to say hello.
Holy ****** the other guys were Manuel Rivera, A Rod, Jeter & Steinbrenner jr & Cashman.... I think my husband stopped breathing for a minute😉 Got his composure & I said do you mind if I take your picture together? Of course they said Yes.
Never a baseball fan but after that I knew who those "guys" were!!!!
My husband still talks about me doing that!!!

Mine fail in comparison to some of you who live in popular places, but for a small town girl in the middle of no where these were big deals for me
Sean Austin in MGM during the Rudy years, Ming Na at the studios walking out of the bathroom, Corey Feldman in O'Hare in September, Alec Baldwin in a hotel in Pittsburgh while they were filming "concussion" Johnathan Hindman??? In LAX and one morning I was taking the elevator down in a Pittsburgh hotel the morning of a Steelers game and about 4 or 5 of the players got on the elevator on the 3rd floor....they stay at the hotel as a team the night beofre a home game....they are BIG...I was shocked...only remember #23!
Larry McCaren of the Green Bay Packers back in the day

When I was in high school I met Paul Newman & Joanne Woodward, he was very nice & so handsome. Also shook Robert Kennedy's hand at the local airport when he was campaigning for President, I was really surprised when a photo of it appeared on the front page of the town's newspaper...I'm smiling ear to ear as his hand is in mine...sadly he was murdered shortly after that. Oh, when I was in 4H we got free tickets to see the Beatles at the IN State Fair, as they left the arena I was standing next to the limo & got to touch Paul as he was getting in, I was so excited...seems silly now.
