Re: DEER Thursday 07/15/2021

@MamaWick   As I looked the pictures you posted today, my heart was happy seeing the deer having such trust in you and eating right out of your hand.  🥕🥕🥕

The last picture was of Cricket with her beautiful puppy eyes. Then my heart broke for you, PapaWick, and Cricket.  It is so difficult on so many levels when our fur babies begin to decline.  We don't want them to suffer unnecessarily, but we want them with us.  I've said it before that you and PapaWick are fantastic parents.  Through your posts and pictures we've seen that Cricket has been living a charmed life.  She travels with you,  visits friends and family, and gets to play with her fur cousin and friends.  She is surrounded by love from her family and her virtual family. What a blessing!

Woofs, gentle hugs and kisses, along with prayers and good thoughts for sweet Cricket.   I hope she begins to eat again and enjoy her time with you.  Sending hugs to you and PapaWick too. 💕

Sweet beautiful Cricket.  I will pray to St Francis for her.  Sending you and Cricket hugs. And your deer friend eating and drinking out of the container, well, I fully expect to see those adorable deer sitting on your couch at some point!  And watching TV too!

@MamaWick

I was reading your today's post & learned about Sweet Cricket there, so I went back to yesterday's post to find out more info.  I'm so sorry Sweet Cricket is at that point in her life that worries us so about our pets.  She's so beautiful & those big brown, round eyes of hers look right into a person's soul.  I wish I could hug her so much.  I'll be thinking of you all as you go through this difficult time.  I hope so much the med will work.  Heart

Of course, your deer family are always a wonderful "pick me up."  You're always so kind to share them with us.  Thank you .. & (((comfort hugs to you & hubby.)))

Re: DEER Thursday 07/15/2021

@MamaWick  so  sorry to hear  about your sweet cricket.  I do hope the medication helps with her appetite.  I always pray our kitties would have Drifted off in there sleep at the end so we wouldn't have needed to make that one way trip to the vet which I know all to wel.    I hope that your sweet girl does when it's her time .   We are going through a similar medical issue with our dear boy, high blood pressure, thyroid, kidney disease .   The vet suggests we take all kinds of measures and for him to take numerous pills a day and many tests .     We opted out , just going to give him  the blood pressure meds.    he is doing pretty well considering and we just want him to live the rest of his life for as long as he has  as long as he's not suffering.    We will love and care for his every need till then   He's almost 21 and has many medical issues,  but he's still happy for right now.    I know how hard it is to let them go it's heartbreaking .  Your cricket knows how much you love her and I know you will do what's best for her .  That's what we do , us that have fur babies.

Take care are of your sweet girl and I hope you can get her to eat a little .

Thank you you for feeding those sweet deer , they are precious.   I didn't realize they would trust humans.   We have deer cause we live surrounded by woods but they seem very timid which I understand . I would like to feed them especially in the winter months I worry so over how they are when its cold and snowy.
