Wild Alaskan Company seafood

It's gotten impossible to find wild-caught fish in my local stores.  I'm in Maryland, and the stores have a variety of items, but mostly not wild caught or fresh.

I'm wondering if anyone has ordered from Wild Alaskan Company which offers wild caught salmon and other items.

They offer a variety of shipments and sound interesting.  Of course, it arrives frozen, but I can accept that if the product is good.

Any experience with them or another company that deals in wild caught fish?

Thanks.

@Witchy Woman I have received salmon, crab and Alaskan King crab legs from Pike Place Fish Market in Seattle Washington and all have been excellent.

Sounds great!  My husband loves the King Crab legs, so I will check them out.  We can find them locally, but the quality is not consistent.

Going there to see what they have now!

Thanks!

Aldi sells wild caught fish...my favorites are the salmon & steelhead trout. They don't stock iwild caught every week but I watch their website to see when it's avaliable, this week it's cod.

I have ordered from them for a couple of years and just got a delivery last week. Their quality is excellent and if there is ever a problem or issue theiy are quick to address it. Although they are expensive, it is totally worth it if you love fish.

That's good to know.  There is an Aldi about 30 minutes from my house, but I am rarely in that direction.

However, the next time I am passing by, I will stop in.

Just a heads up @Witchy Woman, the country of origin is on the front...in a rush I grabbed the salmon & trout from Peru instead of wild caught from Alaska, they're all packaged the same way. Aldi vary so check the website, I don't want to send you on a wild goose chase...I like Aldi but how they're stocked can be frustrating.

Thanks for the extra info.  It will be a while before I get by the store, but I will keep it in mind.

During the heat of summer, I normally just stick to shopping my favorite Food Lion store, which is about 10 minutes from my house Cat LOL

However, I will keep it in mind for the next time I am up that way.
