The most ridiculous thing I read repeatedly on this board - and also on reviews - is "I didn't return them because of the expense." So instead of paying the return Shipping you'd rather pay for the entire item you hate?!?! Absolutely ridiculous. Why don't you say the truth - I didn't return them because I'm too lazy to make the effort ?

At one time, 90% of my shoes were Clark’s, but I walked away from this brand in 2012.   That year both of my daughters had shoes less than 6 months old that came apart on them during their work day.

IMO Clark's shoes have always been overrated. I have one pair of loafers that I keep to wear in the rain because they are not leather and a pair of suede boots I bought years ago. I have not seen anything lately that I would consider buying.
