How can they charge 4.99 to 6.99 for each item shipped and I usually recieve everything in one package.  Had several Isomers items in my cart and almost 21.00 for shipping and handling!  That is a good way for me to save money.  They keep emphasizing 6 flex pays but don't mention "but you are charged individual S&H for each item ordered"

Re: Evine. Seriously?

I guess they see how Q gets away with it, and thought they'd jump on the bandwagon?

Evine has been doing this charging full S&H for each item ordered for a few years now, it's not something new. I haven't ordered from Evine for more than a year, when I did order, I did so when they had a free shipping offer for their Evine credit card customers.

I question the whole shipping and handling charge anywhere plus tax is charged on s&h???  I would think the cost of s&h is factored into the price of the item so I would rarely pay $5 additional to receive the item.  Mostly I shop when free s&h is offered.

Many people limit their shopping at Evine for this reason.  Buy 3 small, lightweight rings and they charge about $21. and ship them in the same padded envelope.  Imagine the profit for them while abusing their customers.

This is one reason why Beekman changed to HSN, they kept emphasizing on HSN about how they were offering free shipping.

Postage rip offs are a huge income earner for all shopping channels..... QVC  is no different.....  charging  their return  postage to those who use their own return lablel ... another huge rip off and income earner for QVC... They make you find the over charge on your credit card bill  and have YOU have to call AND ASK FOR A REFUND.   Of course most people never catch the over charges.... thus INCOME FOR QVC.

This  over charge on return packages where consumers  pay their own postage to return goods has been going on with QVC for many many years..... and is never fixed... wonder why??$$$$$$$$$$$$

Huh?  They can charge that much.....because they can.   I've noticed that they are bundling items now.  Everything in one package but why would you expect that to lower the S&H charges?  S&H isn't and never has been just a mailing charge.  People tend to forget the "handling" part of it.  They all charge for the packaging and re-stocking and whatever else goes into "handling".  I just mentally add the S&H charges to the charge for the item and figure that's the real charge for the item.  Which means that often I pass by right by something on clearance because when you factor in S&H,  there's not much of a price break.

I like Evine and order from them when they have reduced S&H on multiple items. They do this from time to time but you have to catch it when they offer it.

Shipping on all shopping channels is getting ridiculous. That is why I hardly buy from any of them anymore. I do sometimes when there is free shipping!! Dont get me started on return shipping costs.
