I can't imagine anything less important than that. I don't care. I log on every few days to see what people are talking about, but I don't even look at their names! Does anyone pay attention to the made-up names of anonymous posters? I certainly don't use my real name!

Lying /misleading others is just wrong. So lying/misleading about one's gender is the problem.   Not mentioning it at all is no problem.

If they want to lie or mislead anyone here, that is their problem!  I don't take things too seriously here and I certainly don't stay up at night wondering who or if someone is telling the truth about anything.

@libbyannE  As I posted above, it's always important to me when someone is lying or trying to mislead me.  In any circumstance in life, including on this board.
