If someone is speaking on a topic about women and it turned out they were a male then yes that would be irritating. In other words pretending to be a woman and commenting on women's issues but not a woman.

@software And IMO this is precisely why someone tries to convince us he is a she or vice versa. To disguise this very circumstance you mention. That's also what is comical about it when the pretense is so obvious. ![]()

Well, it could be an age thing, I use more commas than my daughter was taught. She's always on me about The Oxford Comma.

That would be true for those who don't know much of the science behind it. So what do you do with the thousands and thousands who have both or can't be identified, because it happens frequently.
