@homedecor1 , what a day you've had. My thoughts are with you and your husband. He's lucky to have you nursing, caring, and insisting he went/attempted to get medical attention.

I'm sure your husband appreciates your strength and patience; sometimes it's as difficult to be the caretaker as it is on the "patient".

@texassunflower   Even if we could exchange a secondary e-mail address would be nice.  That way if it didn't work out neither party is harmed.

Some posters who have been on the forums a long time do "know" each other and have other ways of communicating besides here.

Something must have made QVC decide they didn't want to be liable for any possible negative outcomes.

And, I agree, that I enjoy most of the posters and their ways of trying to be supportive of each other.  I just hope that. QVC doesn't get the bright idea of eliminating these forums, plus the QVC moderators, also known as the QVC Social Team are so helpful to us in so many ways.

Oh well . . .

Hope your Christmas is going well.

@aroc3435   We used to be able to post our email in our profile years ago.  It may have been before your time.  I think back in the 1990's there had been a pm system but I'm not sure about that.

Sometimes a poster would put out their email late at night during a discussion then remove it quickly.  Late nights used to be hopping with "parties" and some other fun times.  So it was easy enough to quickly put out an email and then remove it.

There were other chat sites where there would be a pm feature so some were able to meet up that way, too.

Thankful I'm an introvert and that I don't really celebrate the holidays.

I just read the first few posts - and I said to myself: "Yes - but I'm used to it." Then I saw the exact same message from you.Thankful for the internet - and interacting with great people on this site.

@homedecor1  Well you had quite the Christmas Day having spend it in urgent care aand then the ER.  Praying that your husband is right and it is just COPD uptick or maybe he has bronchitis coming or just a bad chest cold.

Best,

@aroc3435

Thank you!  That's what I think too he's got or getting a cold on top of the COPD...he only has 32% lung capacity, therefore, breathing is already a problem.

Then he of course doesn't go out much as he is on portable oxygen & mask -- gets very frustrated he can't catch his breath😉I tell him he needs to relax!

Hes not a happy camper that I made him go I will take him tomorrow ...he can be cranky! lol

Re: Any one alone

[ Edited ]

I'm not alone but for all practical purposes the way my daughter acts I may as well be.  I just hope all my Forum companions have a good day.  We will never forget 2020.
