Happy birthday!   I think 65 is the perfect age to ask for something special like Chanel #5.

I turned 65 last year and it was my favorite birthday.  My best gift was going on Medicare, a supplemental policy, and an RX policy - these three policies save me $450 per month just in premiums from what I was paying to my employer for lousy medical coverage.

@CalminHeart  Totally understand that, full Medicare will happen when DH retires and we will keep his current - US Govt emplyee plan as our secondary.

@I am still oxox Congratulations! I will also be 65 in February...I found a Dooney bag on sale last fall, told DH that's what I wanted for my birthday. I ordered it, he paid--and put it away til my birthday.

Chanel No. 5 is a lovely, feminine scent--on other people, lol! My mom sometimes wore it, and it smelled delicious on her. I tried it, and while it was OK on me, it didn't make me want to buy it for myself.

Here's hoping you love yours! Happy Birthday!

If that's what you want then that is what your hubby should get you.

UPDATING THIS THREAD

I did not get the Chanel,  I went to sample it last night and it was entirely too heavy for me and my lifestyle.

We did buy a bottle of Tiffany "light" which is a much cleaner fragrance more my style
