My 65th birthday will be in mid Feb and I have asked hubby for a bottle of Chanel #5, it is something I have always wanted and I have more clothes and than a girl needs.

No.5 is not a favorite of mine, but i do love CHANEL mademoiselle and CHANEL chance. it is always fun to get something you dont need, but really want.

Happy 65th birthday in advance!  Special occasions call for special gifts.  By all means, you should get that beautiful perfume you have been wanting.  You deserve it!

Smells great and never goes out of style! I prefer the perfume to the toilet water. It lasts longer.

Scent is such a personal thing, enjoy your perfume. Congrats on reaching senior citizen status.

Yes.  Even the box it comes in is worth keeping.  I love it.

 

(Cristalle is marvelous too, but there's nothing like the Classic.)

I find No. 5 to be too strong for me, but Chanel Cristalle is my favorite warm-weather scent.

I have used Crsitalle of and on over the years, it is a lovely scent

Happy birthday and yes to the #5...I think if you love that scent then you will have the best present and you will enjoy and feel luxurious every time you spritz.
