Re: The Traveling Cat Chronicles by Hiro Arikawa

I also requested the book to become available as an ebook (again) and got the Thank You message (again).  So maybe you can make this request multiple times.

@smoky22 @dawg lover @abbalulu @Judaline --

I just realized it's not a heart or a like, it's a "was this helpful?" which makes it more important that people say yes to mine (no one has except a stranger that I know of).

Dawglover, no apologies necessary.  Whenever you can, or not.

I promise I'm not trying to shill for helpful votes (my reviewer ranking kind of amazes me compared to people with way more helpful votes and/or reviews) -- it's just when I saw my review I saw how I said it needs to be published in the United States so please whenever you're there throw that a helpful vote.

Thanks!  Haven't heard from Amazon or the UK publisher but I'm sick, I'm home, I have time and I'm not stopping, not giving up yet.

ETA:  Goodreads isn't helpful here as they combine reviews from all over the world and it seems like all of Europe and of course Japan and maybe more have the book.

Smoky, loved your "a deceptively simple gem of a book."  Lovely.

@LoriLori I did say "yes" to all the 5 star reviews.  I called it a "like" but I did click yes to your review.  Even now there is still only one person who found your review helpful and that makes no sense because I think at least @abbalulu and I both said yes to your review.  You have a great review (as usual). Can we not trust Amazon in recording votes?

@smoky22 and @LoriLori - I clicked yes on Lori's review yesterday as well, plus the other positive reviews too.  Great review, Lori!

Re: The Traveling Cat Chronicles by Hiro Arikawa

@LoriLori  I don't know if this is the thread where you asked why the cat on the cover doesn't match the cat inside? Just want to be sure you read the little paragraph after the ending which explains that? And the link to read about that?

@smoky22 @dawg lover @abbalulu @Judaline @CANDLEQUEEN

So I finally got an answer back from Amazon about those Kindle verified reviews and the answer is -- drum roll -- they don't know!!!!  LOL!  All this time to investigate and that's the answer.  Well, at least they're honest.

Never heard back from the British publisher except an auto-email.  But I'm feeling ill which means I have time which means I may try another way...

I was on the Book Depository website about a week ago and noticed they were featuring this book on the front page, along with other best sellers.  I thought, "that is all due to @LoriLori!!!"

@dawg lover, not due to me but that is how I came to see the book in the first place!  It was featured on their front page and I clicked on it and knew I had to have it!  It's been a bestseller in Europe and Asia...headscratching that they couldn't make it happen here!

Re: The Traveling Cat Chronicles by Hiro Arikawa

@LoriLori - I may be biased Lori, but I still think it's because of you!  I bet this book will cross over to the US within a year.  With all the pet lovers here, it should be a big success.
