I think that is good advice for every single poster on the boards.

Re: does nick chavez refuse to work with the hosts who are wen users?

Just a look at it from the view point on QVC. The buyers of hair care products at QVC are going to buy what sells and at the end of the day what makes QVC the most money. I have never tries Mr. Chavez's products, but there are people that do seem to like them. I think from a strictly business standpoint QVC makes a killing selling Chaz Dean's products and QVC is following the money just as any business owner likely would... It is just something to think about as well as I am venturing to guess the vendors on QVC probably sign some contracts to not discredit other QVC items for sale by QVC. So IF Mr. Chavez did take a public shot at Chaz Dean's product line (I have no idea if he did, I am just going by the commemts on this thread) that could have been a HUGE breach in his contract with QVC and I am guessing he was reprimanded or at least warned not to make comments about other product lines QVC sells and endorses... Just something that crossed my mind and I am not saying this to be a fact of that I am aware of for certain any of this is what happened, but it came to mind when thinking back to some business classes I took. I do use WEN to make that clear to everyone reading this, but the post is meant to put the idea of what drives a company, like QVC, to sell a product and the bottom line for businesses is how much money a product is making them. Food for though, nothing else. Smiley Happy

Re: does nick chavez refuse to work with the hosts who are wen users?

I've watched QVC for over 2 decades, & remember the early days when Nick Chavez was in the star spot that Chaz is in, now. That has to be hard for NC, to be shot down like that. His products are good, too; but Chaz has really pulled off a major coup, & more power to him because his product is the only thing that breathed new life into my middle-aged hair that seemed to become wiry straw overnight!

The way I see it, they both believe in their products & are going to say what they feel is their truth. I think it makes sense to attempt to pair Nick with hosts who do not use WEN, and most of the time they do seem to do that. I can use a product & say so; that doesn't mean that I use it exclusively--maybe a couple times, it was nice, but I'm still shopping around. I'm sure many of the hosts have used both NC's and/or CD's products...but that doesn't mean they ONLY use 1 product line exclusively.

If I were a host, I would keep my integrity by saying things like, "I have this in my bathroom (closet) right now..." Ok, it might be unopened or my kid is using it instead; but hey--it's there!" {#emotions_dlg.blush}

I'm sure you realize you are spreading and compounding rumors right here and now about "Mr" Chavez.

Re: does nick chavez refuse to work with the hosts who are wen users?

I watched a Nick Chavez show a few months back and he never actually names WEN..but when he's selling his Shampoo he will say that there are some who say SHAMPOO IS BAD FOR YOUR HAIR..and he will go on and say how wonderful his Shampoo is for your hair etc.If you have half a brain you know what he's talking about ..but I believe he can say that and he will not get called in by QVC..After all,I think QVC wants him to SELL PRODUCTS..and if that'a a tactic..so be it

And yet many on this and other threads are spreading and compounding rumors about Mr. Dean and I don't see a post from you regarding those rumors, just about the person you like. It goes both ways you know.
