I'm one of the people who doesn't care for Shape Tape at all.  I bought it a couple of years ago. The one thing I found with it is it MUST be applied using a damp sponge.  I really, really hated it using a brush or fingers.

But for my dark circles, I think the Too Faced Born This Way Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer is much better and my new love is ELF camo concealer. That stuff is the bomb.  When I'm done with my Too Faced, I will be using the ELF concealer exclusively.

@Lipstickdiva   Thanks for your post.  I was actually planning to find a good concealer today at Dillard's, but now that I see this, I can grab it at Target.  You just saved me some money, thanks!!  I'm always on the hunt for a good concealer.

@BarbiHollywood , ELF makes a 16 hr  camo concealer and they also make a hydrating camo concealer.  I have only tried the 16 hr. one but I've hard good things about the hydrating one as well.  I plan on trying that next.

@Lipstickdiva  @BarbiHollywood  - The 2 you tubers I follow both rave about the Elf Hydrating Camo Concealer.  They both list it in their top 3 for best concealers.  I definitely want to try it.  If you pick it up, Barbi, please post a review.  Smiley Happy

I also ordered the Tarte TSV, but haven't received it yet.  Looking forward to trying it too!

@Lipstickdiva I bought the Hydrating Camo concealer which is pretty pretty good.  Only thing is I think the color I bought isn't the right one for me - a touch too yellow - so I'll swap it out.  Thanks for the recommendation!

Ahhh, thank you! @Lipstickdiva   I was almost thinking wow, Target's are really starting to 'up their game'!!!

@fitfuninformed  and @LipstickDiva  I did have some fun makeup shopping at Target!  Their selections of everything from hair products to all different kinds of makeup is amazing.  They have an eyebrow pencil that I like - recommended to me by the gal who does my brow waxing - LA Girls.  That was another item I searched high and low for the right color and found it with this brand.  And the price was right, too.  One day, though, I looked on Amazon and found them there even cheaper.  Got 3 for $11 and free shipping.  So I stocked up.  So if you're looking for a brow pencil, check out LA Girls.

Yesterday I ventured into my local Dillard's to just look at some MAC items since The Q now carries the line.  I figured I'd look, see what I like, and ask for color recommendations (NOT trying anything on, NOT touching anything, just shopping with my eyes).  The makeup artist came over to me to see if I needed help, and my eyes could not believe this absolutely gorgeous creature that was talking to me.  It took me a few seconds to realize that it was a GUY decked out in the most amazing, perfectly-applied makeup that I had ever seen.  Let me say here that I am not judging.  I was, though, surprised that it wasn't one of the two usual MAC artists that are usually there, but this guy was stunning.  His skin, brows, and eyes were like something you see on a magazine cover.  Of course, he was wearing a mask so that was all I saw.  His long nails were perfectly manicured and meticulously done in Halloween designs.  He was gorgeous head to toe.  I found myself repeatedly complimenting him and asking how he does his eyes, and he was the sweetest thing.  He said anyone can do it, it just takes practice.  Because I'm always on the hunt for "the" perfect shade of lipstick, I enlisted his recommendation and ended up with a color called Syrup.  Wouldn't ya know it, when I got home and tried it on, the color was perfect!!

Just hadda share my fun encounter!

I just received my Shape Tape TSV yesterday.  I ordered a Med Neutral as this is the shade I use with the IT CC cream.  The Shape Tape seems rather dark in the bottle.  Hope I can make it work, but it looks like I may have to attempt an exchange.  There's nothing worse than wearing makeup that's too dark and having a makeup line!

Good luck with the exchange. I ordered the lighter shade and need the light medium 29N. I sent mine back for an exchange (which they heavily tout on air, oh just send it back for an exchange) and then told by customer service they could not fulfill the order as my color choice was sold out! I give up with QVC.

@San Antonio Gal   The medium neutral was the one I ordered because the shade I wanted was sold out, i.e. medium sand.   I too find it to be too dark.   I HAVE light-medium when it first came out and thought it was a tad too light so I thought I'd try a different shade.  I went into Ulta (BC, before COVID) and sampled the many shades and the medium sand was brighter without being too light, so I know that's the shade I'd prefer.

I'm just going to wait until they restock all the shades before I exchange.  Good luck with yours!

@fitfuninformed  - thank for that bit of information.  The med sand may be the way for me to go too.  Good thing you were able to go into a store.  It's hit and miss without seeing it in person.

It’s funny to me that the beauty blender has become the standard and brushes less so. I grew up with those triangle sponges being the thing and they were later deemed bad due to bacteria growing easily. I’ve tried the blender, just don’t like it!
