I would greatly appreciate some suggestion re how those of you who wear wigs make them secure. 

I have tried Bobby pins, head bands under wigs, etc.

I watched Patti on YouTube, the glam segment. Does the stick on roller work?

I have nothing in the front to keep the wig from slipping. I also have a sensitive scalp.

Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Thank you all

This is something that I would like to know also @IMW,

 I have a couple that slide back, and pinning doesn’t work, and I don’t like the headband. I am tempted to try the “ it stays” roll on product.

The It Stays has to be washed off- wondering about the inside of wig, and the skin where it was applied.

Also which It Stays product —- there are several.

I like the velvet wig headbands (the grip). My wig stays put, doesn't budge with these.  Also, it protects my sensitive hairline and no more itching!

I don’t have any trouble with mine.  I just have difficulty getting the wig sock on.  I took mine out of the box, shook it and slapped it on.  Everything fell into place.  I had trouble when I purchased a Toni Brattin hair piece years ago.  The clips broke & couldn’t get a color match, so I was afraid to buy a wig.  I am careful to adjust it to my hairline and tabs are above ears.  What brand are you referring to in your comments?

If pinning doesn't work try a wig cap which has a rubbery edge.  That should help with slipping.  If the idea of a full nylon cap doesn't float your boat you can buy just the band.   Check out one of the online wig retailers to find this type of item.  Typing wig caps or wig liners into the search engine should render results.

Buy some Dreamlover wig caps.  They are rated #1 and prevent slippage.  Cheap at Amazon or Ebay & free shipping.  10/$7.

there is a product that is a clear silicone headband to wear under wigs---I had chemo so lost my hair and got a few wigs to wear. they fit me fine tho so am wondering if you got the right size. Don't remember where i got it but maybe google silicone headbands for wigs. It was soft and comfy but I really didn't need it.

I've wondered about "It Stays" that Patti recommends also, @IMW, but have no experience with it.

Since first wearing wigs, I've never worn anything to secure them.  The wig grip that @jubilant mentions is recommended by a lot of bloggers-- soft, non-reactive, secure apparently.

I haven't tried the It Stays.  I have wanted to but since I bought the grip I have been so happy with it.  I used to use the hair nets.  Yes, Cysterwigs, is a great website and I love her youtube video's.  Wigs by Patti's Pearls website has lots of great ideas, too. Taz has some really good reviews on youtube.
