Hey, if you don't mind telling me...what brand of eyelash curler do you use now ?

I am having a heck of a time finding one that gives a decent curl.  Thx..

Not Annabellethecat but have you tried heating your curler with your blow dryer, then curling? Make sure its not too hot.

(also a baby boomer here)  I've used both Revlon Lustrous lipstick in Softsilver Red and CG's AquaSmooth compact foundation for 35-40 years and will always have these in my arsenal.  Don't know if I'd call either of them a "prized possession," but won't be without either one.

My makeup brushes. Nothing fancy or expensive. They are just perfect for what I need them to do. I would be lost without them because of a hand disability I have lost the use of my fingers so brushes are the only way I can apply makeup.Woman Happy

Re: Out of all your MAKEUP items what is your Prize Possession?

My makeup things are very flexible, so I really don't have any "prized possessions."

But I do like the IT contour palette that I'm using for shading/blush, shadow & highlight. Also, Bye Bye Pores.

Also, still love my lip palettes (I have a couple of different ones.)

@tototwo

What color hair do you have? Would your shade of lipstick, do you think, work for brunette/light-med skin tone?

I would say my Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer.  It evens out my skin tone and gives me a slight glow.  I have tried to replace it with something less expensive but cannot find anything and believe me, I have purchased and/or looked around.  Share your favorite makeup item and why you love it so much.   Cat Very Happy

@Katcat1. Hi. Went to NM‘s makeup dept. last night. OMG! Always like a deer in the headlights when I end up in a high end makeup department. I asked which was considered the best tinted moisturizer......2 out of 3 artists recommended Laura Mercier. I had purchased it in May after hearing you rave about it many times. So, you have the best and can quit looking. Sometimes you just have to pay the price and cut somewhere else. BTW, I have no BIG stores like that near me...just Nordstrom....after 12 yrs., it’s no longer dazzling.

@maestra  I use Antiqua as a blush...perfect light wash of color for fair skin.

Miracle Skin Face-the best foundation I've ever used and it's not made anymore. I have a little bit left in 2 tubes and I am using it only for the special-ist occasions!!!

@Annabellethecat66. Hi from my DC vacation. Want to make your mascara look like liner? Rest the wand against your upper lash line close to upper lashes. Press lightly and then wiggle the wand depositing a lot of product there making lashes appear super thick and almost like liner. Next wiggle it up to end of lashes.

BTW, always love reading your posts. 💕

Re: Out of all your MAKEUP items what is your Prize Possession?

Good morning, @Harpa.  One thing I love about that Revlon Softsilver Red is that it's kind of a chameleon for me.  My hair is silver gray/white.  When I transitioned from medium blonde to silver in my early 60's, I had to tweak some of my makeup colors - but not the SR.  It looks burgundy when I wear burgundy, coral when I wear coral.   It's certainly cheap enough that if you try it and it doesn't work for you, you won't be out a lot of money!   If you try it, let me know what you think.
