My DD uses this and she's very fair. She likes it mostly for her legs. She uses the Light. One word of caution however.....the smell can be really bad, when it goes out of date. Pay attention to the expiration date on the tube crimp, because it can start to smell really bad when it goes out of date!

After awhile it builds up on ankles, wrists, etc. like a traditional self-tanner and I thought the smell of this stuff was horrendous. My sister used this last year and I was sitting next to her in a warm church for a wedding and I could smell it on her it was so bad.
I think Suave is much better although I don't use it on a regular basis either. But the smell isn't nearly as offensive.
I didn't know that Suave had something similar. I'll take a look at it and take a smiff. I don't mind the Jergens smell. I just couldn't stand the self tanner smell with the others that I tried.
My DD bought the Suave too and it is a bit cheaper, but I can't recall what the exact price was. But it is cheaper than the Jergens. IMO the Suave smells better.
IMO the Jergens can smell like body odor or stinky sneakers when it goes out of date and you are not aware and apply it anyway. lol

I LOVE the Jergens FOAM (way easier to use than the lotion) in the med/dark shade and use it everyday even on my face. No smell, no streaking no problems! ![]()

So for three months out of the year I tan and worry about skin cancer. I try so hard every year to just do the self tanner but end up going to tan instead. I'm going to try this. My normal skin color is very white. And not an attractive white. Think uncooked chicken! But I do tan pretty descent. I just need to stop! Please don't tan!! I just had Melanoma for the 2nd time and this time it was St. 4 in my lung & brain. I would never want anyone to go through it or worse die from it. I've never been a "tanned", but did lots of water stuff, plus have a genetic factor. All it takes is one cell to mutate. White is beautiful!! Natural skin color is gorgeous!
I am so sorry about your Melanoma, I had 16 spots removed last year, thankful they all came back fine but I am only 42, my Dr. worries what the future holds since I tanned in my teens and 20's (indoor tanning) and I have always been moley - I have over 70++ moles and they say the more moles you have the higher your risk and top that with tanning....I'm scared to say the very least. My grandmother had lung cancer stage 4 as well
My very good friend just had a huge cancer tumor removed from her brain and is currently recovering from all the chemo and radiation, just horrible. God Bless you!!!

They've improved this product so much over the last couple of years. Especially the smell. When it first came out it smelled horrible but I got some this spring and it was actually very pleasant smelling. I also love the tan you get from it. Not artificial looking at all. I got the fair to medium shade. In the spring, I mixed it with my moisturizer to make the tanning more gradual. Now I'm using it full strength.
Love it!

Love this thread! lol...
Laughing at myself because I do not tan, haven't in years... I do not even own a pair of shorts or a dress and yet I am ready to buy some Jergens Natural Glow...
I think I'd better buy some bermuda shorts or workout petal pushers and THEN add the tanner to my list!
My legs are so white they'd scare people.
I'd love to just tone down the shockingly white color.

I really liked the foam too. The smell wasn't the same and I didn't get the build up I did with the lotion. However, out of the 3 cans I bought, the nozzle broke on every one of them and left a ton of product in the can so I gave up.
Maybe it was a bad shipment.

Please I would like you to think that you may have just saved someone from skin cancer. I'm canceling my next appointment and buying some jergins when I get into town Saturday. I'm on vacation. Maine actually. Ocean is 55 degrees so no sun on this vacation! Funny. Or should I say sad thing is I know 100% that of I found out today that I had skin cancer I would stop now. Just stop and deal with my very white complexsion. How stupid is that? I'm going to buy jergins this weekend. Thank you and god bless. On 7/9/2014 spookyghost said: I bought it and then returned it before I used it. Dang. I'm so glad you posted because I'm very fair but I do tan.
