So for three months out of the year I tan and worry about skin cancer. I try so hard every year to just do the self tanner but end up going to tan instead. I'm going to try this. My normal skin color is very white. And not an attractive white. Think uncooked chicken! But I do tan pretty descent. I just need to stop!
I natural tan for the summer months, as well. 15 minutes front, 15 minutes back, 3-4x a week. I. Not outside any other time than that. A little color by the end of summer...but I sleep a little better during the summer months....I attribute it to the VitD. I also eat LOTS of berries & greens in the spring/summer & I truly believe that protects the skin, as well.

There are 2 shades: Light/Medium and Medium/Dark. I am very white and I use the Light/Medium. The M/D is for those who are naturally darker skinned and want a deeper tanned look. I am quite satisfied with the L/M.

I'm the odd man out but I detest this stuff. After awhile it builds up on ankles, wrists, etc. like a traditional self-tanner and I thought the smell of this stuff was horrendous. My sister used this last year and I was sitting next to her in a warm church for a wedding and I could smell it on her it was so bad.
I think Suave is much better although I don't use it on a regular basis either. But the smell isn't nearly as offensive.

I tried this as well and have to say I had very different results. in the indoor lighting I thought it looked good and then I went out into the sun and saw orange and blotchy skin. When I stopped using it the fade away was even worse, made me look like I had some strange skin condition. I threw my remaining bottle away and stay clear of this stuff now.

This one still gives me a slight smell after several hours, but nothing like the transitional smell of the full-on self tanners.

The strong perfume smell is horrible. I can't use it.

I didn't know that Suave had something similar. I'll take a look at it and take a smiff. I don't mind the Jergens smell. I just couldn't stand the self tanner smell with the others that I tried.
