I started using Jergen's Natural Glow about a week ago. It is a moisturizer that will give you a natural tan in 3 days. Of course, I was skeptical. I'm on day 6 and I have used it 3 times - not sequentially. I was afraid of what it would do and I was concerned that it would smell like some of those self tanners. I didn't want that spray tan look or smell. I have tried self tanners before and didn't like the look or the smell. I used the Light-Medium color. They also have a Medium-Dark shade. I used the body moisturizer and the face moisturizer.
I am soooooo happy. I am of Irish-Danish descent and I am very fair with completely silver hair. I have never been able to go out in the sun and as a consequence I am VERY white. My husband says that I lend new meaning to term "old white woman." Because of my coloring I make sure to wear makeup so that I don't disappear.
This stuff smells like Jergens lotion and goes on very nicely. It is not greasy. I apply it on my arms, legs, face, neck and decollete. It looks wonderful. Even my hypercritical daughter complimented me. The tan is so natural looking and not fake looking. My legs and arms don't look "old ladyish" even thought I am an old lady. Why didn't they have this when I was young and cute!!!!!
I bought it at Target. They had an offer that was buy the body lotion and get the face lotion for free. I'm going back to buy more. I'll never be without this stuff again.

Isn't this great?! I'm so glad you love it.
I tried it when it first came out several years ago when I was living in the U.S. & UK. Every time I was heading over to N Ireland I'd bring a stash with me to give as a goodie to family & friends. While some poo-pooed it (and retained their ""so white they're blue"" complexion) others fell in love with it. Best part - not orange!!

So happy for you and those it works for. I wonder if they changed the formula because when it first came out I tried it and it smelled worse than any self tanner and after about 2 weeks it built up on my skin in certain places and looked blotchy.

You might want to check before you send it because I think they might have it there now. I'm sure they'd appreciate the giftie. I just know how expensive it is to mail stuff.

I, too, used it when it came out. I applied everywhere...even on my bum. Week/so later, I started getting little bumps on my rear...not a good look! A year went by until I read the chemical that causes tanning is known to do this on many people. Stop using it, no more bumps. No one said anything about that occurrence, but if you secretly do....this is why.

So for three months out of the year I tan and worry about skin cancer. I try so hard every year to just do the self tanner but end up going to tan instead. I'm going to try this. My normal skin color is very white. And not an attractive white. Think uncooked chicken! But I do tan pretty descent. I just need to stop!
Please don't tan!! I just had Melanoma for the 2nd time and this time it was St. 4 in my lung & brain. I would never want anyone to go through it or worse die from it. I've never been a "tanned", but did lots of water stuff, plus have a genetic factor. All it takes is one cell to mutate. White is beautiful!! Natural skin color is gorgeous!

I agree, it's the best self tanner I've ever tried, and I've tried a lot!
It doesn't smell bad, and doesn't get on my sheets.
I usually notice a result after one application.
