Big breath, rant over. Time for coffee and a walk
this is most enjoyable and I commend you on your astute memory to recall so many of the marketing gimmicks! Kudos to you, my dear ![]()

And then there's the Italian water...and prai, and terisalum, and my favorite 'ancient Chinese secrets'! (she always takes me back to that commercial)

But to be honest, and since Still Raining brought it up, I have an easier time believing the plastic surgeon spiel than the one where they accidentally found skincare looking for an alternative energy source?! Really?! Did the researcher drop the beaker and splash it on his/her face? How does one stumble upon skincare whilst looking of energy?? Please explain that!

There's the Hawaiian deep sea water. Because deep water is better than shallow water.
We all need to remember that the presenters are sales people, their job is to sell, not educate. Evidently the technique of promoting a secret, exotic, exclusive ingredient works well. How else do you convince viewers that your product is different/better than the hundreds of other choices?

But the dig on what she wears is uncalled for. She likes it, that is all that matters and she must feel confident in how she looks in her outfits so why not let her feel good about herself rather than judge her? She may look at what you wear and have a few thoughts as well. We all have different tastes and one person's idea of what looks good isn't someone else's idea of what looks good. Variety is the spice of life- if we all dressed and looked the same, life would be boring. And she DOES look pretty, regardless of what she wears.
Just to be clear, after one undergoes any type of facial surgery, you need good make-up to cover the bruises, stitches, etc., until healing is complete. 4-6 weeks depending upon what you have done.
Some plastic surgeons employ make-up artists in their practice. If not, then they have referrals.

Many Plastic Surgeons do indeed work in the area of skin as others have said. They deal with and develop products to address incision healing and scarring (or it's prevention), burns, skin issues due to chemo/radiation,etc. I have no reason to not believe that Jamie works with PS's when developing some of her products. Not that it has any bearing on my using the many from the line that I do. I use them because they work well for me.
