I love It Cosmetics and have several products from this line. The Bye Bye Concealer and CC Cream Foundation are miracle workers!
BUT, something that drives me crazy about Jamie. She is constantly saying they work with plastic surgeons. How does that matter? Plastic Surgeons fix problems; they don't have anything to do with skin except for doing face lifts, Botox, fillers, etc...
Now if she said they worked with dermatologists, of course that would make sense.
Anyone else notice this or is bugged by this?
P.S. I also want to give her a make-over with her clothes' choices. She's a beautiful woman and I understand why she wears her hair the way she does since she often demonstrates products on her own face. Seems like she picks styles that accentuate her broad shoulders. Like tonight, she's wearing a black dress with this white piping which draws the eye to the broadest part of her body. I just think she could look so pretty; wish Lori G. or someone would help her out!

I agree she needs a make over but not by Lori G. she has rags as shirts that lady has terrible style. Amy wears the same jewelry and the same clothes. She is a pretty women if she would change her style. Love her makeup.

The so-called plastic surgeons are in South America.

Plastic surgeons DO, in fact work with make up, face creams, etc. If you go in to ANY plastic surgeons office, I promise you it will be well stocked with mke up, facial creams, etc. I worked for a plastic surgeon for 11 years and he had his own line of face products and make up! They work VERY closely with burn victims and design makeup to cover their scars and other type of scars! As for a make over for Jamie, maybe she is happy with the way she looks?? I think she's a beautiful lady just the way she is and I think she is probably just as beautiful on the inside!!!! I don't know why people have to be so judgmental!!!!!

Just to be clear, I did say Jamie was very pretty. I just commented that her clothes did not flatter her as much as they could.
I stand corrected on the plastic surgeon issue I guess. I have only been involved with a plastic surgeon related to reconstruction after breast cancer surgery. Cosmetics were never part of our discussions. ![]()

well, whether or not she works with Plastic surgeons to develop her products, her products were generally a big fail for me. The plastic surgeon angle is her shtick. All the makeup people seem to have one. It must be mandatory to be on qvc, lol.
But the dig on what she wears is uncalled for. She likes it, that is all that matters and she must feel confident in how she looks in her outfits so why not let her feel good about herself rather than judge her? She may look at what you wear and have a few thoughts as well. We all have different tastes and one person's idea of what looks good isn't someone else's idea of what looks good. Variety is the spice of life- if we all dressed and looked the same, life would be boring. And she DOES look pretty, regardless of what she wears.

well, you did but then later you said, "I just think she could look so pretty..." Note the "could", implying she isn't already.

Thank you, racerrn.
I find the comments about Jamie's body and clothing disgusting and embarassing.

I just think that the "hosts" have found a new way of standing that makes them look like they have to go potty
They all seem to stand that way now- just reminds me of a little kid trying to "hold" it. A more flattering way would be to place one foot in front of the other and turn slightly to the side-with toe pointing straight--- not cross their leg over the other at the ankles-- JMO. and BTW- I think Jackie looks fine in that dress! Aren't we all just "perfect" that we can judge others? I know I am!! (NOT!) LOL! I don't think the makeup is all that flattering on the older woman though-- if you've got the age lines- they're going to show no matter what and HDTV doesn't hide it.--- Not picking on the older woman--- she's lovely actually- just commenting on makeup in general. I know I've tried all kinds and while most will cover/hide different skin pigmentations, rosacea etc. it still won't make the lines disappear and it DOES look like you're wearing some kind of makeup/ concealer as your skin ages.
