I always have done my own toenails but due to a recent back injury I can't really reach them now. I went yesterday for a pedi and the girl said I should get one every 2 weeks. If I get my nails cut at the podiatrist they say every 9 weeks. So I wonder how soon I should make my next appt. for a pedi? i get my hair cut every 5 to 6 weeks so I was thinking about the same.

I get the complete pedi every 4 weeks. If you got your toenails painted they will need done about every 4 weeks. If not I would get your pedi when you get a haircut.

I'm in my 40's and I've never had one. I've always wondered what I'm missing.....

It depends how fast your nails grow but every 4 weeks should work. I found 4-5 weeks work for me. Every 2 weeks is too soon ... sounds like your nail tech is trying to drum up some business for herself!

I give myself pedis about every 2 months, and they do last that long. Love Sally Hanson’s formulas. I spend next to nothing and my feet always look good!

I think 5 or 6 weeks is a good range. Try it. I get a pedicure around 3 or 4 times a year. I take the polish off and cut the nails around 5 weeks. The polish is usually still perfect, but I can see some growth.

I go every 4 weeks, and when it's sandal weather, I often get a polish change at the 2 week mark.
