Good Morning Ladies,
I'm looking for a good finishing powder and came here for some recommendations.
I use Tarte Balancing Foundation and just want to top it off with a light weight matte power to control shine with little to no color. Preferably something I can reapply throughout the day without a lot of build up and that wont settle into fine lines. Tall order, huh?
What can you recommend?
Thanks in advance

The absolute best finishing powder I have ever found, and I have tried so many of them,
is Bobbi Brown's sheer finish powder. It doesn't sink into fine lines, nor does
it leave the cake-y, crepey dry look on your skin. There is no break through shine on my nose
either after a 12 hour day. Bonus: it's also an eye shadow base! Use if before your eye
shadow on your eyelids and your eye shadow stays put and doesn't crease!

Another good one: MAKEUP FOREVER HD Invisible Finishing Powder.
I use a kabuki brush and I get an airbrushed look. Nothing settle in fine lines - it is very very fine milled, in loose formulation.

I love this one, especially for portability and touch-up. I also love the Tarte Amazonian Clay finishing powder.

My favorite is a loose mineral powder from Dreamworld. Ellie has several formulas. The one I use is a silk powder called Whipped Cream. Many color choices but very faint and you can hardly see any color...or plain white. I've reordered this 2 or 3 times and have been using it for about 6 years.
I'm always recommending Cory and/or Meow for foundation (and blush and eyeshadow), but Dreamworld is the best, imo, when it comes to a great finishing powder.

Because of sensitivity issues - I can only tolerate a few brands:
Avon's Ideal Flawless Loose Powder - translucent
Almay's Translucent Shimmer Powder.
Physicians Formula has an Organic Wear in translucent - I haven't used it yet.
