My itchy scalp started back in my 50's. (Now 65). I looked at the ingredients and found the 2 ingredients that cause my scalp to itch terribly, Methylchloroisothiazolinone and Methyisothiazolinone. Also sulfates and fragrance will cause my scalp to itch.

I use Cruelty-Free, natural shampoos.

The "Itchy Ms" are in a lot of hair products and it's a shame.

I generally don't have a dry scalp, but sometimes I get buildup. I love jojoba oil for my scalp and when I feel like I need a "reset," I mix jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, and brown sugar into a paste in my hand and use that as a scalp scrub. I mix it in my hand and apply it while I stand in the shower so that it doesn't get all over the bathroom floor.
