I cannot believe that one skit on TV would have pushed Dr. Brandt to suicide. That assumption seems preposterous to me. I think he was obviously under a lot of stress in his life. Perhaps his brand was not as successful as it had once been. There are so many skin care brands out there these days. I personally did not get great results from his products. Maybe it was all to much for him to bear. Or maybe there were personal issues that he was dealing with that none of us could understand. Blaming his suicide on one skit on TV seems irresponsible to me and disrespectful to Dr. Brandt. May he rest in peace.

I'm guessing -- and just my opinion -- that the person who feels this way has not cared for Tina F since she portrayed a particular politician.

I never saw any of his shows and was only vaguely aware of him. But since his death I've read what a wonderful person he was, how he truly cared, and how he helped so many.

My heart always aches for someone who is in so much pain that death seems the only option to make it stop. May he rest in peace.

Tina Fey is getting a bad rap. Anyone in the public eye is fair game for parody.

I agree that when a person has some helpful, community resources that it may help prevent a tragedy, such as in this situation.
