Bringing this up for opinions from the morning ladiesSmile

Just ordered these, I love the covering on the rollers, I think it'd be much better on your hair rather than bare metal. Personally, I think the blue light getting rid of germs is just a selling point! {#emotions_dlg.blink} Skip that and order it for the velvet covering. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Good luck!

I agree about the blue light. I did go ahead and order, but OMGosh, the tablet Thursday and now the rollers today.

Somebody stop me{#emotions_dlg.scared}{#emotions_dlg.blush}

I was tempted until I noticed how Jacque's hair started out great at the beginning of her show, but half way through her hair was losing the volume and curl. She even mentioned that "nothing was holding" together because it was such a warm night! She kept running her hands through her hair to try to being back some of the lift. I don't want the expense of having to send them back when they don't do what is promised, so I'll pass.

The way the Chi set works is similar to the Calista Tools rollers. I haven't curled my hair in ages, but was inspired to this morning since my DH and I are going out furniture shopping later. My hair is fine, but long, with long layers. I have both of the Calista Tools sets - medium for the top of my head and the longs for the length. I feel like I look pretty good this morning so I'm not tempted by the Chi set. FYI - I use the Calista Tools Complete to spray each section before the roller goes in and I get a nice, lasting curl that way.

Thanks JLFSmile I'm going to give the rollers a shot. You know, I think a case could be made for having both the Calista and the Chi {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

Sure, why not? Whatever floats your boat, right? {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

it's hard to believe that these rollers hold your curl all day if it is humid outside. I think the price is outrageous for these rollers. afterall, it's plastic. Have you noticed the models with the long hair have very thick hair (very beautiful).

That's what I use, too. I was trying to decide if the CHI rollers would be better....but, I am pleased with the ones I'm using so....I have decided against ordering them. I look forward to hearing the reviews about the CHI set.

I have the Caruso steam rollers and really love them. But I have to make sure my hair is totally dry after I remove the rollers and before I start styling it. Heat and humidity still bring it down but it looks good while it lasts. I have not found anything that works better for my fine, stick-straight hair but I'm always open to suggestions/ideas!!!

Please report back and let us know how these work out for all of youSmiley Wink

I will do a review of the rollers.

If I had some that I was happy with, I would stick with them, but I don't have any (haven't had a set since the big hair 80's)

I ordered the TSV hoping to save a bit of time w/ the rollers. Have long, layered fine hair...lots of hair...but very fine and very straight. I am hoping these will give me the same lift and curl that I get from curling iron/Velcro roller set. It takes forever and a day to do my hair....just hoping to save some time.
