Hi goldens, so happy to see you here today. Sometimes I see your posts on other threads, so I know you are around. As an old person, 82, I can't even begin to tell you how this country has changed in my lifetime, and especially the last few years.

We SO need forgiveness and a renewed declaration of our "dependence" on God. He was in the schools I attended. Not now. On DDay, the President told the nation to close it's businesses and go to their churches and pray for the success of the mission.

We call good evil and evil good and God says "woe" to those who do that.

He is gracious and merciful or we would have been destroyed already. He is also holy, righteous and just. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord is what His Word says.

I'm one person who bows and asks forgiveness for my sins and those of my country, and asks the Lord to heal our land.

Still, this is the best nation on earth, and He has made it so. God bless America,

Hi possummink, happy Independence Day to you and yours. Sorry about the wild weather and the power surge. Hope you enjoy the fireworks. We aren't allowed to have them because of the extreme dryness from drought conditions, but many stadiums have displays. We always watch the Capitol 4th and the Macy's show.

*bucks is having their half price sale on fraps this afternoon. Yesterday DD#1 came out and brought us a cherry pie so we are getting them today instead.

I'm sort of monitoring the DandC programs. Not anything I want yet. Last night there was a cute top, but it sold out before I saw it. Don't need it.
