I'm happy but not happy.  We have been talking about doing some decorating this summer and I did pick out the new carpeting I want but I thought we were just looking.  Well, with things being the way they are shortages of some ypthings predicted, hubby took care of things.  He said they gave him a discount if they could come Monday.  I have my colonoscopy on Monday afternoon.  So hubby is working the logistics of all this with my nephew who was taking me for the colonoscopy anyway.  "You don't have to do anything".  He says...

OH DEAR!!! I would not be happy. If I were in need of any 'personal' assistance I would prefer that be from my husband.

@chrystaltree   You have a wonderful 'take charge' husband. New carpet is a wonderful thing.

Good luck with your colonoscopy.

Haha @chrystaltree , that would be my easy out of the colonoscopy. I know, I know, it is important but it wouldn't take much for me to find a reason to postpone it.

Enjoy your new carpet.

@We rescue cats  I was wondering & confused what in the world the OP was fonting about until I saw your comment.

What a great deal. You get new carpet and don't have to lift a finger.

Wishing you a uneventful experience.

The carpet was ordered, the carpet was in stock and it was paid for, it's yours, no need for such a rush job to have it installed.  I'm sure it would still be yours a few days later.

You won't have to lift a finger said no man ever and meant it.

I would be ticked if my husband scheduled such a big thing instead of taking driving me to/from a colonoscopy. But that's me.

I found beautiful hardwood floors under my carpet. I tore up the carpet and put just a medium sized throw run in the center of the living room. No more wall to wall carpet for me.

@CelticCrafter  According to the OP, the discount was contingent upon them being able to install on Monday.

To everyone else who thinks the OP should be "ticked" or otherwise unhappy about the nephew taking her to her colonoscopy---He Was Going To Do That Anyway, i.e. that was the plan before they ever looked at carpet!

I think the OP's only beef was that DH took care of it without telling her, and that it's on the same day as the test.
