Hello ladies. How do you highlight the heart in your posts? I don't see the heart when I'm typing. How do you do it please? Thanks.

Bobbisue, I'm not sure if you mean the heart in with the text like this
, or the 'hearting the post', which you can't do for your own posts.
If it's the one that you can add to your words, it's up in the smilies at the top of the posting box. Click on the smilies symbol and in the middle line. toward the right side of all those 'faces', there's a red heart. Click on it to put it where you want it to be when your post is submitted. It won't show up as a heart till it posts. Before you hit the post tab, it will just show the word heart:.
I hope this helps. If not, I'll try again. ![]()

This weekend sure was humid here in Ohio (love my AC though).. Seems this month is the month for spending money, on other things and not me! LOL...
The knick in my windshield (of the new car), my son had fixed but with the heat and humidity this weekend, I am now sporting a growing crack across the entire windshield, so the entire windshield will need to be replaced..
Still no lawnmower (they are backed up).. I think I just need a one of those weedwackers, but the push lawnmower helps with exercise..
Oh yes and then I locked my keys in the car.. I keep a spare at home, but even if I took a taxi home I couldn't get in the house (have to get a spare hidden somewhere)... My son who has a spare set of everything could of helped me, but with his work and working far away last week I would have had to wait about 6 hours for him... The local police got the car open, but I had to sign a waiver against damage, etc., and that is a good thing because the policeman knicked up the side of the door framing; he couldn't just use the usual slim-jim because of how the locks are, oh well! I am thankful though that he could open it.. The funny part of the car situation, I received an advertisement to join AAA and that is what I'm going to do..
I'm disappointed about the current issues, but it seems with all I've been through the past 2 1/2 years this is "small potatoes"...
Hoping everyone is having a better month than I am..
Love to all..

Hi possummink, so grateful your family made it home safely. Always a concern for moms. The picture of the little boy with those very tall flowers is so sweet. Thank you. Yesterday it started to rain in the late afternoon and rained for hours. There was flooding in some places, but not here. DS and DDIL had to put out the sand bags. We consider this a gracious gift from God and are amazed and thankful. DD's eye doc had to postpone her visit until Thursday, but her eye feels okay. Today she is getting a rental car. She and DD#2 are going to a taping of a TV program tomorrow.
Fran, peace to you also, dear friend.
Bobbisue, hope you figure out how to "heart". Possummink was kind to explain things. It's humid here and really looks like we might get more rain again. It's a major miracle and I do really thank the Lord.
DannysWife, I can't imagine living with high humidity all the time. So grateful for AC. Sorry your lawn mower isn't high on the repair shop's priority list, but glad the weedwhacker works. Insurance will pay for that new windshield, and out here and maybe there they come out and do it at your house. Sorry you locked the keys in the car. Sounds like an adventure, and now you will have AAA insurance. If it's not one thing......etc.
MamaS, if you are reading and not posting, know that we are concerned and hope you will be able to let us know how you are.

Dannyswife, hello! I'm sorry about your lawn mower. Like Snappy said, at least you have your weedwacker to tie you over. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that you get it back SOON!! I purchased a weedwacker a few months ago at Lowe's . It's battery operated. It's very lightweight, and I enjoy using it. I know that sounds strange, however it's true. LOL It has been brutal here the past few days. The heat index has been over 100, and the humidity has been unbearable. SNAPPY, I agree with you....TG for airconditioining! Take good care.

Hi Snappy. I'm glad that you are staying in the airconditioning, and keeping nice and cool. Your DD is going to be on a TV program? Oh how neat!!! I wish her the best of luck. You take good care my beloved friend.
