I agree with a several of the posters here. Sorry, not sure who suggested what, but it is VERY helpful when someone brings paper plates, napkins and the like. I have also brought books of stamps (for thank yous) and extra TP as you get many visitors after a sad event such as this. You have so much to do and plan right away after a tragedy like this that you are unbelievably busy for several days, so I also think it is a very good idea to stop by after a week or so when everyone else has gone home and not around as much and you don't have the support system. For me, that is when it becomes overwhelming with sadness and loneliness.
