She loved traveling, she loved playing bridge, she loved chocolate......and she loved me.   Happy Mother's Day Mom....forever in my heart. ❤️💐

Her Love, Her Inner Strength...(my Dad did not treat her well and she finally left him after my twin and I were born and forged through life as a single mother of four children)... and Her Beautiful Whistling continued and never left throughout it all!

I can still smell the aroma of her anise biscotti, flavored with anise seeds and anisette.

Also, I can still smell 'Sen-Sens' in her handbag.   (Teeny-tiny black squares of licorice scented breath fresheners, in a small flat paper-type package.)

Also, her flavorful Sunday roasts with potatoes and carrots at Noon. 

Gosh, seems that I miss her even more as the years go by.

Lol..great question! 1) Her "dusting powder with puff 2) how she fervently sprayed my school clothes with spray starch, 3) how, for a brief time, she was addicted to the smell of Pine Sol (like putting some on a cloth and holding it to her nose while watching her soaps on tv.)  Mommmmm...LOL we're you getting a buzz???😆 Miss ya Mom😢

I'm so sorry you had a bad mother. Mine detested me almost from the moment of birth and I returned the feeling, in spades. If sympathy will help, you have a lot of it from me.
