Hello Ladies, @AndreaTooDaughter@AmericanBulldogMomThank you for the outpouring of love and concern from all of my friends here.

DS, family, and dogs moved into a vacation rental house only 1 1/2 blocks away from their house which puts them in the same school district.  Unfortunately, the lady only wants to give them two weeks.  My DIL is trying to convence her that it's guarenteed money with no rental lapse plus she would save on cleanup after each renter leaves.  They need the house 7-8 months.

A picture of the house is in Outfit Of The Day If You Dare.

Our 6 yr old GS took an Instant Breakfast box and cut out flames.  He has DS's fire truck from his childhood.  He's in our basement.

My DIL's FB post:

A kid, a fire truck and a child’s interpretation of what happened Monday night all in one photo. 😭😭😭

They tell me kids are resilient. Yes, they are. It’s important to me to let both my sons talk about what happened. I don’t want tragedy to ever be the defining force of some spiral of events that they never dealt with.

They lost everything too. They are allowed to be mad. They are allowed to express emotion. They are allowed to cry. They are allowed to have moments of sorrow. They are allowed to have all the emotions that come with having to deal with losing their childhood home and watching it burn.

No matter what emotion or method they are using to cope with today I know that when this is all said and done they will have joy restored, peace restored, comfort restored, and love will have carried them through (love cannot burn no matter how big the house Fire).

Little Shadow, our new pup has now lost his friends and his boys and is alone, bless his little heart.

I'm having lunch today with a friend I haven't seen since Nov 1st.Smiley Happy
