Yes, I do---but am not  addicted to texting and  not constantly texting  all day/night long. My cell phone is my only phone so I do talk on it a fair amount as well.

I text a lot every day, for the same reasons as many of you.  I have a very busy family, including 5 grandkids that I keep in touch with.  I dislike talking/chatting on the phone.  We got rid of our landline, which has helped with unwanted calls.

My kids were closer to my mom who lives across the country than to their other grandmother who didn't text or use social media who lived in the same city. I call that closed off. They chat throughout the day and share pictures so she feels included in their daily life instead of waiting on a phone call once a week or so.

I text so rarely, it takes me a few seconds to remember how to do it.

I text as little as possible.  Can't use my thumbs, so it's hunt/peck.  Much prefer a computer keyboard.  I also don't talk on the phone much either.

I text my sister several times a day, my son and my brother. None of us like to talk on the phone.

I am a voice to text texter.......started when DS went to college.  My DGD loves my phone and also voices texts LOL.....not really but imitates me (15 months old)..

I text frequently.  I began texting when my DD would text me and I would answer her via text.  I was caring for my infant DGD and my DD, who was working, would want a quick connection and update on how things were going. The more texting I did the easier it became.

Yes, I do. I much prefer the use of text messaging over calling.
