I don't have a trackfone.  Just a regular Samsung I purchased unlocked and switched to carrier.  I hate texting. I'd rather talk.  I try to discourage business from trying to text me.  The funny part is that I have unlimited phone and texting.

I'm 63 and I live my life looking forward, not backwards.  I do text a lot.  I prefer texting when it's just a short conversation or question.  Also if someone is giving me directions or instructions, I prefer a text because I have something to look at and keep.  Telephone calls are good for longer, personal conversations.

I prefer to text because my hearing is bad. I dread making calls. My eyes are fine though. I count on captions on tv too. Another thing about texting, You aren't bothering anyone. They can reply when they have time.

I text with my kids a lot throughout the day. It's a quick way to share or ask a question. We still speak at least every couple of days. The texting is in no way a substitute for connecting.

I am a world class texter.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?
