I met Tao last year she was doing a dance presentation with a partner 60 years younger than she is, she was at our local Athletica

Tao has been one of my favorite people for years, @Shanus

She has been extremely blessed with not only a positive spirit, but also longevity genes and a sound mind and body.

Attitude is key, but for those who have physical, emotional, and/or cognitive frailties, you have to modify things, keep a sense of humor, and hope (and sometimes, pray) for the best.

@Shanus  Yes, this mirrors my attitude and most certainly my life.

That's my motto.  I suppose I should say that at 58, I'm trying to make that my moto.  I don't want to be one of those women who limits her life based on her age...or size.   Life is just short for that.

That Yoga instructor is indeed impressive at 97, I would love to know what her lifestyle was from a very young age, I'll have to look her up. I prefer to be around younger people than people my own age, simply because we don't have the same interests. As far as physical limitations aging may present, it's important to heed them IMO.

God Bless that woman teaching yoga at 97.  I agree, love life and the stage of life you are in and you will be happy.  Most importantly, don't forget the lipstick!   LOL  Cat Very Happy

I'm 56, just went back to school for a new degree last year and just completed the first year. Why not? I have more smarts, money and focus then a 20 year old.  And I detest middle age whining. 😜

P.S. I'm not including people with physical ailments in my whining comment...that's s whole other matter. I meant attitude, satisfaction, etc...

@Shanus

I have never heard of her, but she seems very impressive.  How blessed she is!  I do, of course, believe that you have to have the will and the right attitude.  And, she obviously has tremendous genes.  She must be very dedicated as well.  All these things must be combined for a success such as she is.  I am envious of her!  One thing I lack is good health.
