I just got my flu shot today at CVS.  Had the first shingles shot a week ago and was not told that I could have a swollen, red arm lasting up to 2 weeks.  So shingles arm is still not back to normal, but flu arm feels fine at the moment.

Trying to decide when to get my next Covid booster.

The BF got his flu and covid yesterday and was saying his arms were sore last night.

And?

And nothing.  She's making conversation.  You've been around long enough to know that's how this board works.

Okay then,....my feelings....  I will not be getting the flu shot.  Haven't gotten one since the mid 1990s and have only gotten the flu when I was in high school and college.
I think back then I really didn't take care of myself and ate too much junk food.    Now I really watch what I eat, stay hydrated, exercise and take supplements.

@cindyNC    My only reaction from either shingles vaccines was a slight itching for a couple of days.  They can't tell you what your reaction will be 'cause they don't know.

Had flu and Covid shots on the same day in different arms.  Sore arms and a little chill for a day.  No big reaction.

We had our flu shots last Friday. Had no idea there even was a SENIOR shot until they told me I would be getting one. Just walked into the local Safeway pharmacy, where we get all of our shots, no appointment.

We will be getting the covoid booster next Friday. We were told we could get same day, but I deferred. And the ONLY reason is because they hand out 10% discount coupons and I wanted two more. LOLOLOL! They probably would have given me two if I had asked, but I didn't want to seem greedy.

I've never had a reaction :::knock on wood::: to any of the shots. Hubby had a slight reaction to the 2nd shingles shot, but it was minor and only lasted a day. It was just a stiff and sore arm.

@Drlinda  How many Covid boosters have you had? I had my third one in July.... I never heard about having four....so was not planing on getting boosted again for Covid.

Does any one here know what is the game plane for Covid boosters? How many?
