Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Total of 6 miles walking and running this morning...some with dogs, some without. I did the 3-mile hill run by myself...and walked and ran with them 3 different times. Did upper-body weights...doing compound moves since yesterday didn't have much of those.

It's pouring in Va Beach so I'm happy to be here today...it's beautiful out.

Lucy to vet at 1:15. Dh left for back home...dogs are depressed.

nomless, that recipe makes me hungry every time I sign on here!

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Morning, just did KCM Gym Intervals using my treadmill. Running for 1.5 minutes then get off and do weights, then back on and back off, for 30 minutes and I added in the 15 minute waistline section and did 5 miles on my bike and 10 minutes on my Pilates reformer..

It's cool here today and sunny..70's for today I heard.

FUTURE I wish I could send you our temps,,,I doubt by winter you will still be asking {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Pppmint I hope DS isn't too exhausted after his long work day....very worrisome for you I'm sure...Hoping the Vet appt. gives you some answers for our little girl {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

Nomless I really like that dvd,,,just in case you want to know Cool

I just realized it's after 11 am and I haven't eaten anything..that's not good...better go up and have something and shower.

Later.

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Hi bop and MickD!

Vet is pretty confident that the mass is from her rabies shot...said his daughter actually had one from her vaccination and they surgically removed it and it wasn't anything...but a peace of mind.

He said if it doesn't go away, gets bigger, etc., he would have it removed(and biopsied) when we get her spay, dental, teeth pulled, etc., that we were planning on doing this month...before ds got sick again.

I really liked him and feel confident in his diagnosis.

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Hey, where'd my post go????

Bopper, you had a great w/o today with all you added on to KCM. It's so cool that you're enjoying her so much.

Patty, I'm thinking of Lucy and DS this afternoon. I hope things are OK for both of them. Hugs and prayers.

Hi, Mick. You haven't been a slug today....maybe a bunny or a squirrel? Going here and there, getting things done. You were smart to rest your foot.

Tonight I'll do some cardio, then I have a TV dilemma because my 3 favorite shows are on in overlapping time slots. Masterchef, ANW and Shark Tank. I'll be channel surfing.

Patty, that's wonderful news about Lucy, I'm so relieved. How long ago did she get the shot? Does it seem to you like it's in the same place? I can only imagine how relieved you are. I hope DS's day is going well, too.

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Hi, all. FULL MOON. Enough said. I just slowed down. I had a long work day, then ran a couple of errands. Hubby and I went to the big box store and stocked up on stuff and just grabbed a piece of pizza on the way home. I went through my closet, dresser, and bathroom tonight. :-0. I was on a roll, so I went with it. Gonna get up early and treadmill it. Patty, glad Lucy's bump is ok. Hope DS (and all of you!) are on the mend. Bopper, I'll take the temps and let you gave them back in a month. Lol! Nomless, way yo go with the cardio. The bane of my existence, except spin. Smiley Wink Hi to everyone else!! (Tony, were you feeling the moon, too? I know you were!)

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

nomless, I took her to the vet the day before we drove up here! She had 2 shots and the one up the nose. Just have to keep an eye on it, it should get smaller if that is what it is.

Everyone is off to work, I get some peace and quiet now. DS had to get up at 4:45 again, he really is powering through this. Hope it doesn't come back to bite him but you have to do what you have to do. Hopefully he can start the steroid taper soon...ugh.

Walked with my dil last night so I got 10 miles in yesterday! Actually over 10 miles if I count more walks with the dogs. She is so fast, I know she could walk at 6.0 and my foot and hip aren't having any of that.

I mean she's just too fast period, I'm not making excuses, I can say when someone is faster than me. Wink{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes} And she's definitely faster than me...I'd say faster than anyone I know.

Going to Body Step this morning...probably do some legs after or before, upper is worn-out from yesterday so I'll let my arms flying around be it for today.

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

I did day 2 of T25 and had my Shakeology for breakfast. Smiley Happy

I have had some issues with my crunchy knee, so today I stretched, jogged for 10 minutes outside, stretched again, and then did the dvd.

I think it helped.

After I did the dvd I was dripping sweat and my hair was soaked in sweat.
