Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Morning, did a walk this morning outside....beautiful day again...I tell you this week has been stellar.

Last night I watched History go down as Derek Jeter's last game with the Yankees and my boy doing the plate...it was very surreal and I had tears of joy as my GD would say. I have had so many congratulations this morning...on his plate appearance and being so young to have have done a no hitter, the longest game in history, and now Derek Jeter's last game...I am humbled and overjoyed...my heart is indeed full this morning.

Nomless that sounds awesome... I love stuff like that...yes each season you could fill it with something, even sand and shells in the summer...I'd get some of those very small thin wire light strands and put it inside the glass...I want one of those..you can fill it with acorns from outside too and and pick up some mini pumpkins from the craft store too for Fall...lots of things you can do with it...It's so exciting when you find something like that!

FUTURE that bread is pretty darn good with a cup of Pumpkin spice coffee! Good luck on your certification and hubbies presentation. I think dinner out is in order...and then CRASH {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Pppmint I sent you a message on FB but not sure my messages are going through . I have been having some problems on there..other people aren't getting them either. I hope you had a nice time on the water yesterday..sounds fun. Did you paddle board or do something else. Hoping DS is Okay..I worry when I don't hear from you..

Hubby and I took another trail last night with Logan. Lately we have been exploring more trails around here that we have never been on..it's so pretty in the woods..

Tomorrow I am walking a North Country Trail walk with my 87 year old father! Got a love that! {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes} It's about 3 miles and it will be folks of all ages, some in wheel chairs, veterans and strollers. Who ever wants to go..It is supposed to be a beautiful day too.

I think DH and I may have dinner out tonight too...fish some where...

Okay guess I better get to vacuuming...

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Bopper, that's so cool about your son umping that historic game. He'll remember last night forever. I knew you'd have lots of ideas for the jar. I'll leave the fruit in it for a week, then will change it out with Halloween things. I think I'm going to love this jar. I hope your dad does OK in the trail walk tomorrow.

Future, TGIF! I hope dear doggie continues to get better and that DH's presentation goes well.

Hi, Patty, hope DS is hanging in there and that things quiet down for DH. Enjoy your weekend.

I'll do cardio when I get home....last time I did it, I seemed to have pulled a tendon or something in the bottom of my foot. It's kinda sore. I'll try using an arch support and see if that helps.

Have a good day, everyone.

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Patty, just want to let you know that I got a letter from the Mass Association and you son is being prayed for. In part the letter says " I want to assure you that we friars are remembering Patty's son in our prayers and at holy mass." We are especially praying that our Lord keeps Patty's son safe in His loving care and may His healing touch be with him". Patty I don't think you are catholic and it doesn't matter right now we need all the prayers said by everyone for not only your son but for his wife and especially his Mom and Dad. They are also going to include him in 900 masses. Lets just hope all these prayers are going to help him. I will be sending my partner mission donation gift in for the month of November and along with my list of people I want prayers said for "Patty's Son" will be included. Okay little girl go do your running and riding with Lucy and hope you can relax this weekend. All the rest of you ladies who work your bodies till they wonder what your doing to them have a nice Saturday. it is supposed to be beautiful up here.

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Morning,

Cater how beautiful that is....I am also teared up. I am worried about her....she has not responded to any of my messages I have sent her and I am worried she had to travel back to be with her son...This makes me sick to my stomach...she always lets me know what's going on as we have become good friends but i have not heard from her since Thursday when I sent her a recipe and I think she said she was going to do some water sport with a friend. That was the last time I heard from her and it is very unusual...I am very very worried. Patti please know we are all praying for you and DS and everyone here is very worried...Please send a message if you are able. We miss hearing about Lucy and all your adventures..

I am heading out this morning to walk with my 87 year old dad for a Veteran's walk. It's another nice day so we should have a nice time.

Blessings to all!

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

I'm getting text alerts from my gf to check the forum...haha!! Yes, we're fine. Very busy, lots of things going on, I'm trying to get back into the swing of things...and cutting out some of the time-consuming things in my life, like internet, that is taking up my time(trying to heed my bible study book).

Have a big reunion at a park to go to for dh's work, we are biking to it so we can get our work-out in and bring Lucy. Making a picnic lunch and packing treats for her. This will be her longest ride to date so we told her to rest up.{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Especially after chasing the fox yesterday...lol!{#emotions_dlg.scared}{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes} That girl is going to give me an ulcer! We have a ton of fox all of a sudden, DH has seen 3 just in the past week.

She was so funny with the maintenance guy last night...oh yeah, that's another thing we have going on...our living room ceiling is leaking so he had to cut a hole in it. Now I have a hole in my ceiling, with a trash bag and duct tape covering it...nice. The contractors should be out on Monday to find the leak and fix it. If I have to move into a hotel room after the past 3 months, I'm going to lose what is left of my mind!!!

cater...so sweet, thank-you! Very much appreciated! I am grateful for everyone's prayers, he's had a couple little set-backs this week due to the taper, but so far, he's not taking too many steps backwards. I told him I think he's tapering too fast and as much as he wants to get off these steroids, he might need to slow down.

Have a wonderful walk bopper, I'm sure you will. Yes, nomless, it is nice knowing someone is cheering us on! Waving to everyone!!

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

Pppmint so happy to see you posted...I was very worried....I certainly understand wanting to take an internet break...we all need to do that every so often...it starts controlling us and we need to rein in! Glad it wasn't because DS was having a bad setback. You mind goes in all different directions and starts to think the worst...That Lucy she is a stinker...My niece came across a fox on a trail this week also but it was dead...and she couldn't see how it died..it was laying across the trail...we seem to have an abundance of the here too.

Dad and I completed the walk 4.5 miles. He was ready to be done though...some people turned around and went back but there was a bus to pick up those that were tired. Considering he is almost 87 years old he did great. We sat on a bench for about 10 minutes watching the sail boats but other than that we kept going...So blessed to have him in my life.

Okay all, now that I know all is well here,,,I shall Carry On {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

Patty, I'm sorry about your leak, but am glad you're having some fun and that DS is hanging in there. Bopper, what a great day you and Dad had. Hi, Future. Have a good Sunday. My foot still hurts, so I'll probably stick to the bike today. Hope to have a lazy day

Re: Welcome to the September Exercise Thread

I did a long cardio session today... well, long for me. Boy, I was struggling. It. Was hard today, but I made myself hang in there til I got to the goal I had set. Whew. No energy today, feel like I need to sleep for 3 days.
