Good Morning, did the treadmill alternating running and walking for almost an hour and then 20 minutes on my TG lower body and Abs.
It's very warm again here and humid. Seems the story of the summer in most places. Those poor folks in LA and CA, rain, floods and fires! Praying for everyone there!
Laura maybe if your phones don't get fixed you can go home early! That would be nice. Sounds like your getting stronger and ready to move up. Yay...
I don't have have anything going on the rest of today, too hot to take Logan for his walk but I'll take him in the yard several times. I have so many hummingbirds, one almost drank out of the cup I was pouring it out of. So cute!
Have a good day everyone!

It's Friday! DH flew in last night so we got to bed late...again. Up and at 'em early. I walked Lucy this morning and did 2 loads of laundry so far. I was going to go to HIIT class at 8 but the ball of my right foot is pretty darn sore so decided not to at the last minute...too much jumping around. Plus my upper body is a little sore/fatigued and they do a lot of push-ups, planks, etc.
It's only supposed to hit 90* which is nothing for us so I think I'm going to hit the trails then go for a bike ride. DH and I are diong the W&OD tomorrow on our bikes though so maybe I'll just run and walk today.
I did upper body and Attack class yesterday. That's still my favorite, I just love it. Such a good work-out! I went up in weight on the leg-press on Wednesday...did 2 sets at 150. It's an easy press-machine though....the angle is easier than most.
DS went to GI doc, he's lost a lot of weight without trying so they want him to have a colonoscopy to check for the worst. I'll have a pit in my stomach until this is over. It isn't until the end of Sep so we have a long time with it hanging over our heads.

Hi Everyone! Thought I'd check in. Getting really close now to my departure date. Will get the suitcase out this weekend and let it sit open for a couple days. Then will start putting stuff in it little by little. Next weekend will be the pack and get ready weekend.
Been reading everyone's posts and so proud of everyone for keeping up with your workouts. Can't believe I'm going to say this but I kinda miss it. Don't want to try anything tho this close to leaving just in case it would irritate my back and hip. Luckily, I'm feeling really good and back and hip are doing fine so don't want to push my luck. There will be plenty of time to start up again when I return.
Did I tell you all that I'm going to Columbus Ohio for the Christmas holiday? Going with my DD and her husband to his parents' house. I'm excited for my very first white Christmas - at least I hope it is. This California girl has never had a white Christmas. My SIL's parents actually live in Chillicothe which is about an hour out of Columbus. I really like them so should be a fun holiday.
That's about all my news for now. Getting so excited!

Happy Friday!
I did 15 miles on my Xbike this morning, and have been cleaning and cooking. Made a zucchini lasagna so will see if DH and I like it. He isn't into trying new things and I'm nor a fan of zucchini unless of course it's in bread! Looks good though.
Judy how exciting, the trip is coming fast. I hope you have a wonderful time. Yes you can get back into it when you get home again. I'm happy you "may" see a white Christmas this year. Hard to say in Columbus Ohio, I'm so far North that we see snow in October. I heard this winter is supposed to be bad, I hate to hear that..but it is what it is.
Iluvlucy glad DH is home safely and your little family is back together. 90 is cool for you, I hope your foot feels better! That attack class has you hooked, glad you are enjoying it!
Nomless how are you liking the workouts on the chair!
MickD no don't drink a bottle of wine ( unless I'm with you) Tee Heeeeeeeeeeee
Laura you hanging in there!
Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Hey everyone, I'm new to your excercise thread. I'll introduce myself. I'm a 50 year old grandma, I ride my bike every day 14 miles in a nature reserve, then I come home for a drink and ride another 10 around my neighborhood and bike path. I love it, feels great when I'm done, it takes 2 hours.
Soon, when school starts (I teach), I won't be able to get both rides in before work. I'lll have to cut back. I'm ejoying the summer and hope you all are as well.

Hi everyone! It's pouring cats and dogs here, and all day tomorrow too. This morning I did 40 on the treadmill and 20 on the Total Gym. Now cleaning and planning dinner.
1905 salad hi and welcome. I'm a 61 year old grandma too. I love to bike ride, we have some nice paths along the lake here. I live in the country so have to first get my bike to the path riding on the shoulder of roads. Not the best scenaro but it gets me there. What grade do you teach? My future DIL teaches 5 grade, it's a hard job but rewarding one! I thank teachers all the time!
How is everyone else doing today. At least it isn't raining everywhere!
I just had some zucchini and maranara sauce and it wasn't too bad. I'm trying to become more vegetable friendly because it isn't my favorite thing but this wasn't too bad.
Well not much else here, make the most of your day!
