Re: WELCOME TO THE JULY EXERCISE THREAD

Good Morning All!  No workout for me this morning.

@Mmsfoxxie  keeping your grandbaby in my thoughts today.

@Laura14 and @DrKelli  boy must have been the weekend for getting into one's space last weekend.  Me too!  I was so hard on myself.  You're right @DrKelli  it is a cycle and hard to get yourself out of it.

@bopper  no not hot here.  That heat spell in June just lasted a few days.  Now we are back to cool, foggy, breezy and the weather I love.

Spent most of last night at the emergency room with my daughter.  Her husband is on a backpacking trip and can't be reached.  She went to the Dr yesterday because she hadn't been feeling well for quite a few days and the Dr thought it could be either appendicitis, kidney stone, gall bladder.  So the Dr. did blood tests but by late afternoon we hadn't heard from the doctor yet.  I got a call from my daughter as I was walking to my car after work that she needed me ASAP.  So off I went to her house and found her in a lot of pain.  After a bit decided to go to the ER.  They did blood and urine tests which came back normal so decided to do a CAT scan.  Long story short, everything was normal.  So the Dr decided that she has some stomach virus that she may have got in Maui or just after they got home.  It'll just have to run its course, no meds given.  Didn't get home until after midnight then up this morning at 5:00am so no workout for me.

Tonight will be another late night because I'm going to see PAUL MCCARTNEY!  Wahooo!!  It will be a great evening.  So excited.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Wednesday.

@JudyL   I am so glad your daughter is okay.  That must have been scary as heck.  FYI, I've heard there are eclipses going on that are rocking our worlds which is why we are all a mess.  LOL  So batten down the hatches because there is another one coming next week. Smiley Surprised

I am putting my legal disclaimer on here now.  Not responsible for my bail money if you tick me off right now.  Irritate at your own risk.  I'm on the edge!  Smiley Mad

PS:  Don't throw all the good underwear up there tonight.  You want Paul to be able to strum a while.  Smiley WinkSmiley LOL

@Laura14  you are too funny.  I had to promise my friend that I wouldn't throw underwear or a bra on stage!  LOL  We were joking around but the thought of it is pretty funny.

Re: WELCOME TO THE JULY EXERCISE THREAD

It looks like the rain is going to hold off so as soon as I am off Boss Satan's clock in 20 minutes I will be doing my yard work.

It is so hot I hope I don't burst into flames and leave a scorch mark.  If there is a news item about a black body outline on a hill in GA, you all knew me when.

Morning, everyone.  My granddaughter’s surgery for the two hernias went well.  The inguinal hernia had to be done at the vaginal area instead of through the lower abdomen as hoped but the surgeon said that was not too unusual.  She has a hole in her heart that they say usually heals on its own.  This is why it’s important to carry babies to full term.  My daughter in law did her best, though.  She felt and looked like hell, lol.  Thanks for all of your support, ladies.

Why is it when you can’t have something, you want it the most.  I want my morning coffee!  Can’t have it because I have a stress test this morning.  I’m so spoiled, lol.

Enjoy the day everyone.

Re: WELCOME TO THE JULY EXERCISE THREAD

Good morning, all!

@Mmsfoxxie , I'm glad everything went well.  Lots of good thoughts for a quick recovery for the little one!

Well, it is definitely hot here and it is muggy!  We are usually very dry, but it feels like Florida in the afternoon.  All I do is sweat.

It was a good yoga class yesterday--quite a crowd with 10 people!  I don't think I've ever seen that many.  Of course, there were two people who were regular yoga type people who didn't understand the class.  One guy asked me about it and I told him that it was NOT an active flow class.  I don't know that he will be back although he told me after class that it was exactly how I explained it.

Today is weight training with pretty heavy weights--hopefully I have the same attitude that I did on Tuesday.  I can't wait until lunch time tomorrow when I can go home earlyl.  Actually, I will go to the store because I have to get the picnic supplies for Saturday's trip to the pool with my neighborhood friends.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Re: WELCOME TO THE JULY EXERCISE THREAD

Hey everyone, well we had a down pour last night about 6 pm and my yard had pools of water in it, it was crazy!   Today is partly sunny and cooler so I opened the windows and turned off the AC, this North breeze coming in is heavenly.

I felt like a slug this morning, I sat through my husbands softball game yesterday afternoon in 87 degree heat, no shade and have the infield dust on my body, so nasty and gross.  Came home and showered and put my pj's on early, I didn't care I was clean and needed to relax in the AC.   My workout today irritated me to no end, I could not get in postition to save my soul, and I like my new Cadillac but have learned I can't do certain things they are doing because my neck is all messed up and my upper back is messed up,  lower back is tight...one of those workouts you feel you did absolutely nothing, just dog walked for 20 minutes, the bugs are still bad and the woods are too wet which isn't helping.  He's a barker so I avoid the neighborhood as it stresses me out too bad.  I have a feeling no 10,000 steps today and I really don't care LOL....

@Mmsfoxxie so glad the surgery went well, being so little it's always a concern!  Remember my DIL I told you a long time ago when she was first pregnant her dr. said she had lots of issues going on, bleeding etc?   Well the last haf they said is now completely normal, nothing unusual and should have a completely normal delivery.  They moved her due date up a week too.

@JudyL so glad you daughter will be okay but it sounds like a rough go non the less, and all this dr. stuff and tests stresses you out so bad, I hope her husband isn't going to be gone too long!  Stomach ****** is the worst!!

@DrKelli  yes you are usually very dry, and it's hot there too isn't it?  I think the whole world is messed up weather wise.

@Laura14  Please don't cast the shadow of death on GA LOL...And speaking of going over the edge, I"ll be holding your hand going over with ya!

@nomless Hi and waving to you.   Hang in there!!!

Well that's about it for this girl, and did I mention my soap opera they took off our channel!!  I am so furious, it isn't DirectTV's fault but where they get the station from, there is a big to do about money and so the other place decided to pull the station, almost blackmail in my eyes, involving their customers to get what they want.

Later kids!

Re: WELCOME TO THE JULY EXERCISE THREAD

@bopper   Okay you touch my soaps and I am blowing buildings up.  If it is a CBS soap, go to cbs.com.  You can watch for free until the turkeys get it together.

So are we going to take bets on how many hours @JudyL spent on Paul's tour bus?  Bonus points if she now has a restraining order.  That's worth money on Ebay!

@JudyL , another Macca fan here. I saw him 2 years ago. Show was awesome, of course. You'll have a great time.

@bopper ,  what's your new Cadillac? I'm guessing a Pilates machine? Or Total Gym?

Soaps: I'm still bummed that my soap Guiding Light was canceled. Loved it.
