Please don't think I am being bossy. I just want to share with you what I have studied.
I think your window of eating is a bit too long. You are clocking in at 12 hours and for weight loss, optimum would be around 8 hours. I know it's hard. I get up at 3:45am and try not to eat before 10:00 am. It's probably not that I am so hungry; it's that I was conditioned to eat breakfast early.
You sound committed to reaching a goal. I am sure you will find your groove!
I have a weird schedule I get up very early, go to bed very early and eat meals at weird times so its hard to get things evenly spaced. Thanks for your encouragement!

@Catiele wrote:I started eating less about six days ago. Don’t like to use word diet. It just doesn’t work for me. I am eating less and no desert and walking. I have lost three pounds. That may be all I lose. For me having a goal doesn’t work. Good luck girls.
I guess we're all different in our approach. Thanks so much!

I’d like to add that small red potatoes with the skin on are delicious. You could eat three to four of them depending on size, but you have to count the calories you’re getting. I make enough potatoes for the family by boiling them until soft. Then I transfer to a pot and measure a bit of olive oil, small amount of salt, add fresh very finely chopped or puréed garlic and cilantro paste that’s sold in the vegetable section of the grocery store. I just mix the stuff to coat the potatoes and heat on medium for a minute. The olive has to be measured. Nice to add this to your meal a couple times a week.
If you start adding to your first meal plan, with just one medium baked potato with butter on both halves, you add many calories. So be careful with things you add on.
I like potatoes a lot -- what's not to like, right?? But, I try not to eat a lot of them in any fashion. Thanks!
Instead of actively avoiding them, face it & eat spuds!
I like to say ‘Potatoes Eat Fat!’
Seriously....they are the ultimate weight loss food.
The are the perfect package...just prep ahead...and eat-n-go💚
I’m doing another “Mary’s Mini” tomorrow for 10 days.
It’s so easy.
1. Pick a starch (like potatoes)
2. Add non-starchy veg
3. Add in no-fat condiments
YouTuber, Atlanta Creole, just finished a 10-day.
She commited to putting out a video every day for inspiration
so if you (or anyone reading) is interested, there’s a whole series of
videos in her channel. Can’t recommend a 10-Day MM enough!
Cheap, easy, really re-sets the taste buds!

Time to detox. I am sarting Mary's mini with you. Can you shed any light on what might be the best source of info. I think I read Mary stated it is ok to have an occasional fruit, while others say no.
When I read conflicting info, I check out! Any help is appreciated.

I like to prepare 3lb of potatoes each day...and supplement veg.
And those Ore-Ida frozen potatoes/hash browns are a stable.
Good Luck! Circle back with your experiences here or in the
