There are two schools of thought one is of the Traditional and the other is Longevity this way each can share with those who are like minded.
This way we will not be bumping into each other....

This isn't pointed at you, Javala, but my suggestion would be that more people on this board would understand the concept that the PURPOSE of a thread title is to say what the thread is actually about. That would help people to know whether they want to enter and participate in a given thread.
There are too many silly half question and completely undescriptive thread titles. If people understood this simple concept they might find more productive conversations with others.
I doubt if they would see fit to create two separate health forums, but it would be easier to converse if people played by the basic rules of outlining the subject of a thread through the title. ![]()

Thank you CB
I think I worded that wrong I should have said add another category so as we don't lock horns, they have a Sports category, in fact they don't need two forums just add Longevity for those who have no place.

It's not up to us to decide who can post on a thread. It is up to us to follow the Standsrds tho (including what we put in our siggy line).

This will allow us to respect each others POV by each having their own space.

One good way to have the conversations you prefer is to start your own board. I'm not up to date on this, but it's very easy and there are numerous venues. That way it's 'your board, your rules' and you can have forums as you like them.
This board is a pretty broad base and, truth be told, I don't even think they care that much about it beyond what they can cull for their own retail-related use. NTTAWWT. So, chances are pretty slim they could give one whit what extraneous sub-forums anybody wants.

I wonder what the difference is between Traditional topics and Longevity topics. The latter would be oriented toward seniors??

I'm not in favor of further splintering the forums into more and more little private conversations. The whole thing then becomes so cliquish that there's little reason for anyone new to enter and read let alone converse.
Although I respond to lots of different posts, I read even more of them. Sometimes I even learn something when I do that. Splinter it too much and I'm out about 90% of the time.
