Thanks for sharing I needed a good laugh!!! Glad you don't mind we laugh with you...I had a surgical procedure (minor) & dr prescribed a mild sedative for anxiety for me take 1 hour prior.

Omg they could have cut my head off - I was totally out of it! I came out of procedure paid my co-pay & out to my spouse.  The only thing I remember was telling him I'm thirsty ... I slept all the way right into 10:30 the next morning (had procedure 11AM).

the pa called to see how I was feeling  - I said fine but boy that med dr gave me knocked me out. She said you didn't take more than 1 did you?  I said yes I took both pills!

Oh my - one was a OxyContin & one was a xanax .... I think she was stunned!  She said thank god you are ok!

Guess ill know for this week 1 pill only!!!

@homedecor1

@LilacTree  Loved your post.  If it had been me ordering and after giving all the info to the rep., she probably would have told me "it's out of stock, sorry."  lol

@LilacTree Yesterday I was on a live chat with a rep from Kohl's because the order I tried to place would not accept my Kohl's cash number.  He asked me to type in the number, I did - 12345 etc.  He replied can you type it so I can read it - 1 2 3 4 5.  Well, I stared at those numbers, saying to myself, well, I just sent you the same numbers - AND only then did I realize he wanted a space between them.  We both laughed at that.  Still felt foolish :-)

@chlema

Yeah, I would do that.  LOL!!

I can certainly relate! I get a little nervous getting on the phone because sure as someone needs my address or phone number I'm blanking out. I've been known to run around looking for something around here with my address on it, just because I want to be sure I'm saying it right.  When I'm not nervous I can think fine.  Doesn't happen all the time, just sometimes. How bad is that!

Thank goodness you are okay.  Both pills together are very dangerous but because it was a one time thing is why you were alright.  No wonder you slept so long, the Xanax alone would have put you out for a loooong time, together, well you experienced it.  Don't do that again. Woman Tongue Woman LOL

Can you believe it?  We know where we live and we become brain dead when someone asks for our address.  I'll give the address and suddenly I can't remember the zip code, duh!!!  And yes, I do the same thing, hunt for something that has my address written on it.  How embarrassing is that?

@Lindsays Grandma

I've given the wrong zip code, too! And I also realized the last time I had a medical appointment and they wanted me to update my records that I gave the right phone number but had put down the area code from the previous state we lived in. That looks really bad of me!

@Teddie

At the lab the other day, I wrote my birthdate as 1/17/17.  As I was pointing it out to my daughter, I realized what I had done and changed the year to my real birthdate.  We laughed, but it really isn't funny.

That is funny but the thing is, I can totally relate. : )

Couldn't figure out why the pay-at-the-pump wouldn't take my Visa card, I had just used it and it worked fine. Went inside to pay at the counter, handed the man my Kroger customer card!

I still keep them side-by-side, but I'm more careful removing them. And, no, they don't look alike.
