I am a lifelong allergy sufferer. I have chronic allergic rhinitis and I was taking Allegra 365 days a year just to cope, and still suffered repeated sinus episodes that were debilitating.  I decided I was sick of it and did some research.  I started taking Quercetin a few months ago.  I am now nearly symptom free and never take any cold or allergy medications whatsoever.  My sinuses drain better, I don't sneeze much at all but best of all, the pounding sinus headaches are virtually gone.  This stuff really works.  Quercetin is found in many foods, it's a plant pigment.  It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and it is also a natural antihistamine.  The one I take is from Amazon, it's Nutricost Quercetin with Bromelain (that is supposed to help make it more bioavailable) 800mg.  I take one every morning and evening and have no side effects or stomach upset.  It is much cheaper than Allegra and I feel so much better on it than when taking Allegra.  I just wanted to share as I had never heard of this before I started researching natural allergy remedies and found this, and I never expecrted it to work so well.

Re: Natural help for allergies

OMG!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! I will check this out!  I'm on Claritin (generic, not expensive) 365 days a year.  I get sinus issues, asthma, all the stuff.  I need help, and love that this is natural.

Re: Natural help for allergies

Over the years, I have found,

-eliminating dairy products permanently and

-using a nasal rinse during high pollen days

have helped the most for long-term natural allergy relief.

Re: Natural help for allergies

@Grouchomarx  Thanks for the information. The pollen has been awful this year. I take generic Claritin and sometimes need another antihistamine.

I’m so glad it’s helped you,
