For the life of me @cherry, for over a year we have a poster blaming people for having Type 2 diabetes telling them they want to be sick because she has the cure. I went into a lot of technical information about the destruction of beta cells trying to educate her but it fell on deaf ears. Her posts continue. QVC allows it.

I know, and I proved that there is no truth in a diabetes cure. The CDC says so, and so does the Gov of Canada ,and the National health in the UK

@cherry I finally came to the conclusion that when someone makes false claims it is a controlling issue. They are terrified of death and want to believe that all illnesses are eradicated if you just eat right. Even some Doctor claims you can heart attack proof your life. Just eat their way. A lot of health gurus do this kind of thing and people believe them. Death terrifies people and these gurus play into people's fears.

When I went to work for the Navy, I was told to produce my innucolation records.  I laughed, because I'd never had such a record at home in a file.  I simply told them when I had had measles, chicken pox and mumps and that I had not had German Measles, but had been vaccinated for it, as well as all the polio vaccines we went through,  DPTs, etc.

They drew blood for titres of the diseases I had had and was told several weeks later that I was still highly immune to mumps, but that my chicken pox and measles titres were rather low.  Did not like the sound of that.

Also, re TB, that disease threat has been around since ancient times, which includes in our schools, and especially on both coasts, for ages.  It's a bacterium with a waxy coat, so is difficult to clean off of surfaces.  Could write a book on the subject during my stint as a teacher in a high school in SF.
