If you use it you may want to switch to something else....

I really hate these knee jerk 'studies'.

Two tablespoons per mouse per day for six months. That's a ton of oil for the size of the subject. Just about anything in large enough doses is going to be bad for us.

Like everything else, moderation, consideration, and definitely more studies needed for this particular new food crisis.

I made the mistake of buying it once, wasn't really paying attention to what I was grabbing off the store shelf.  I used it once - I couldn't stand the smell of it once it started to heat up, threw the whole container away.

Unfortunately, to be healthy...there is no substitute.

All processed oils are extremely bad for us.

Even those oils from extra virgins (giggle).

Mic.The Vegan has a study/research based channel.

It’s a light-humored approach to food stuffs...and

he just released his oil video recently. Good stuff.

Thanks for the laugh.....as I wipe off the screen of my laptop......

Really! A 6 month study on mice and a maze? Heck, I get lost in our big home, and I am a 17 year study living right here.

This makes a joke out money wasted on studies, 6 months on mice correlates to other studies done for decades on over a million humans. A LAUGHER TO ME!

I remember, way back, when canola oil was deemed to be the very best, healthy, choice.

Then it wasn't.

Now, I guess it is again.

I was never drawn to canola oil and avoided it all along.   Something about it just never felt right to me jpersonally.   Plus, it seemed kind of gross.

@SeaMaiden

Wow- I use canola oil all the time. I make salad dressing that uses 2 cups of it. I am doomed. I always thought it was better for me than vegetable oil. Thanks for the info.

@TribestersWith all the good oils out there makes sense to switch....why take the risk .....even if some posters on this thread throw caution to the wind and make fun of it. Have a great night!🙂
