@Lali1, why don't those who don't want to wear a mask stay home?  Why is it the other way around?

As an aside, last week there were photos taken of various local restaurants with outdoor seating jammed to the gills.  People were sitting at tables and others were standing all over the patio.  The restaurant was in violation because everyone is supposed to be seated and that wasn't happening.

If I decide to go out to eat, I fully expect that a restaurant is going to comply with the guidelines.  I would be pretty ticked had I been a person sitting at a table and next thing I knew, people were standing all around me in close proximity.   I should be allowed to go out and dine and feel safe while doing that.  If you can't comply because you are too selfish, ignorant or both, stay home.

@BadWolf Wow I just saw the video.  Basically this Dr is saying that masks really don't block out the virus because the particles are so small.

@haddon9@BadWolf ,  that video of Dr. Ashton is from early March.  At that time, we were all being told not to wear masks.  It wasn't until a month later that the CDC recommended wearing masks.

I follow Dr. Ashton on Instagram.  She has been totally behind wearing a  face covering since it was suggested by the CDC.   Her only issue was that we needed to make sure those on the front line had what they needed before the general population started buying masks.

The point is you cannot control people. Heck half the people driving on the roads don't have driver licenses. What Livepd if you don't believe it. So now you think everyone not wearing a mask should be arrested forced to stay inside? How is that going to be done? We can't make people follow the laws on the books and you want to force people to follow recommendations? This is not a world where because you want things to be perfect they just are. People will do what they will. The only one you can control is yourself. This talk of things being unfair is pointless. Life is unfair.

I can't post the video due to language used, but I can see what is described below happening more and more.  When you are the only one not wearing a mask you are going to stand out, and not in a good way.

Googling "woman chased out of grocery store" will bring up the short clip.

@Lali1, I never said a word about arresting anyone.  I have an issue with the entitled babies who have the attitude that they aren't wearing a mask, no one is going to make them and if someone is that scared they want to wear a mask, they should stay home.

Maybe what stores should do is open during X hours for mask wearers and X hours for the inconsiderate dolts.

So then go to the store you're speaking of and tell them that. Or go to another store. If the stores want to make people wear a mask or refuse them service they can. I just don't understand why people think life is fair and everywhere we go people have to act like we want them to. Telling people to stay home if they don't want to wear a mask is useless because no one can enforce that. All you can control is yourself.

Would question why the video was a correct in March, yet now in May it is wrong....

The truth is that the virus is not stopped by these masks.  So then they started with the  "droplets".  If my mask is to stop these droplets, why is yours not capable?

I don't believe people should be made to wear a mask.  If you are uncomfortable going without one then by all means wear it.  I don't personally feel the need to wear one and resent being forced to wear one to shop at certain places.  I exercise my rights and shop somewhere else just as you could exercise your rights to shop and go only places that require one.  I don't need the government making silly rules for my day to day life.  I am respondsible and compentent enought to manage myself.

I didn't write that you might want to go back and check. I don't think I've ever said the word dolts. Edited to add it was Lipstickdiva in her comment to mine who wrote that.
