Re: LESSMAN MEAL REPLACEMENT BARS?

Just listened to Andrew's first presentation of the bars and he said the Peanut bar will be available next month, March.

@World Traveler

Well, the Scientist in me kicked in.

Earlier today I went to the Whole Foods store and bought 4 boxes of the best food bars [Kind, Nature's Bakery, for example]. Brought them home, compared the ingredients to those listed for Lessman's Secure bars.

No contest. Andrew's Secure bars are FAR more healthy than any of them.

Tuned in to the midnight presentation. Because I live in California that was only 9 pm for me!

Immediately bought the large 48 Variety pack.

Was going to get more, though not my fav flavors when Andrew announced, as YOU NOTED, Peanut Bars in March!! I'll wait.

I bought the 48 bars on a presale. They are scheduled for delivery tomorrow..I have always been happy with all of Andrew Lessman's products. Looking forward to trying them. I will probably buy the peanut bars in March.

Still wish he'd consider making a nut-free bar (chocolate-peppermint I suggested to him). I feel like I'm looking in the window of my favorite store and unable to participate.

Love the Secure shakes though!

@1ProfessorI can always depend on you for research. Heart

Good to know what you found out when you compared his bars to other well-known bars. I do trust Andrew, but it is good to hear an informed analysis.

Where are you in California (generally)? Up until 18 months ago, I lived there all my life. Was in Southern California and then Northern California, but most of the time Central California. The day I left to move out of state, it was 111 degrees.  When my plane landed, there was a heat advisory for the expected high of 80 degrees. I laughed and laughed. These folks would not make it one minute where I came from. Where I live now it has not gotten over 81 degrees!  Smiley Happy

I don't recall having as much rain in California during my time there as you all are having now. Hope you are in a safe, non-mudslide area.

Re: LESSMAN MEAL REPLACEMENT BARS?

@World Traveler

Wondering where you have ended up living!?

I was raised, initially in the Bay Area. Now live in Northern Cal.

Lived in Sacramento, Oakland, Santa Clara, San Francisco.

Spent 5 years in Santa Barbara getting my MA and PhD.

(That's as far South as I got.)

I felt better about Lessman's Secure bars after the real world comparisons, down to each ingredient listed. But his midnight show was fabulous. Rich in relevant details. People will eat these for such different motivations.

Re: LESSMAN MEAL REPLACEMENT BARS?

7 grams of protein is not enough for me to satisfy hunger. I eat them as part of my meal and a reasonable sweet treat option on my weight loss program. I pre ordered the TS the other day in coconut because that flavor always seems most popular. There are other protein bars that I buy locally and like that have 15-17 grams of protein that satisfy me more then Secure.

Does anyone know how much sugar is in these?  I cannot find that information anywhere.
