@World Traveler Hi, there!
Tried them the first time and liked them. Peanut ones.

@World Traveler I was also one who faithfully just ate 1/2 the over-sized bar.

I think that because I am a Lessman fan and take many of his supplements, the NEW secure bars just were not made for me. Not healthy enough to feel good about skipping a meal. Great for others.
I do love Lessman's Oat Bran (I make oat bran muffins, no butter, no milk, no eggs, each week, delicious).
I take the multi vitamin, the eye vitamins, the CoQ10, the Omega, the healthy hair (biotin), magnesium. Mostly healthy heart supps.

I order Pamela's gluten free bars in Cranberry Almond because I often need something gf on the go.
They only have 2g of protein tho.

@LTT1 Those look fabulous, just checked them out on Amazon.
LOTS of added sugar in a single bar, though. More than Lessman.

I tried his "meal replacement" shakes. While the taste was OK, no way, for me, is it a meal replacement. A snack, maybe but no more. I've tried a couple of his vitamins and this product and was not impressed by any of them. I know he has his loyal followers. I'm not one.

@1Professor Oh, I do admire your resolve!
On the other hand, I could not just eat half of the peanut bar. I started out being good about that, but they were just too tasty and I stopped being firm about it.
Then I would take a couple of ChocoNuvos to right the wrong I committed. ![]()

I didn't try the previous bars although I may think about trying these. I like that they are a single portion bar (I thought it ridiculous that you were supposed to eat half a bar previously) and I don't mind some sugar if the stevia gave them an aftertaste. I also don't mind 7g of protein (many bars with a lot of protein also have a lot more calories) and this has added nutrients others likely don't have. I just don't know how long they would be filling?
I think you have to decide what you want it for - snack, meal, protein for working out, and what you want more or less of in a bar - carbs, fat, sugar, calories.

I just tossed out a half box. I didn't like the taste of the consistency.
